1. I went to my first boxing lesson on Friday and really enjoyed it.
2. I met with a HR manager on Thursday and got 6 more sessions for one of their executives as well as being told there is another person they want to send to me a bit later.
3. My classmate from shopfitting gave me a fantastic plant and it has been raining hard here for a few days so it has been shooting up on my balcony. It looks happy.
4. This afternoon I am a guest at my friend's playback theatre production and I will meet his new girlfriend - I am very happy for him as it seems to be going well (after a string of disasters) and I care about him a lot.
5. We are very lucky here in Sydney - safe, employed, plenty of food to eat, fresh air and clean water, access to all sorts of courses and interests and living near beaches and a fantastic harbour....only a small percentage of the earth's population have a life like this.

Yesterday,
1) I got to do some more really fun dancing.
2) I took really good care of the theatre company while they were in my studio, helping them in all sorts of little ways that allowed them to be more efficient.
3) The director saw my dancing and asked if I wanted to teach the dance section of her kid's summer musical theatre workshop.
4) I realized that I was keeping up with teenagers, even though I'm 41. In fact, some of those kids are 14, which is my age reversed. Age really has nothing to do with it!
5) I got to see my family perform as members of the Gilbreath family in a prodution of "Cheaper By the Dozen." They were very good!

I'm cheating and adding a couple more.

6) I got to braid my daughter's hair for the show. Her hair is so pretty! Long, thick, and naturally blonde.

7) A person who was supposed to be using the studio on Saturdays called to say she didn't need it. Whew! That would have conflicted with the theatre rehearsals!

8) I got some good writing time last night on the script I'm adapting. It's really not hard work at all. I'll finish in plenty of time.

Love and Blessings,
Rachel

Yesterday,

1)We had absolutely no responsibilities, so we slept in and did whatever we wanted.

2) After a while, it got hot, so we went to eat and to a drive in movie. FUN!

3) I actually liked both of the movies.

4) I did some more work on the script. The scenes I wrote are going to be very good.

5) I noticed that the theme of "SHREK 3" is all about gratitude.

1) I ran 3.1 miles (5K) on the treadmill in 35 minutes!

2) I rode 10 miles on the stationary bike in 30 minutes!

3. I had a brief conversation with two other gym mates (an eye surgen and a former policeman) who are thinking of opening their own gym!

4) I enjoyed walking around our yard and sharing coffee with my wife and cat who thinks he is a dog!

5) I went to vote today!

1. My evening client cancelled so that means I can go to another boxing class tonight. Yay!
2. I am doing another extra shift today - my filling up the bank account in post debt collector crisis project.
3. I got a free parking spot - saving $15.
4. I am getting an extra tab on my website to connect to my blog.
5. I finished knitting a hot pink mohair scarf, which is good because it has turned very cold in Sydney.

cheers

I had a great idea to help my accountant help me.

I had a wonderful, yummy, healthy lunch.

I went to see my current dream house with my husband and son. It's worth way more than they're asking!

My sign maker finally called me back.

I found a way to partner two kids who both wanted lessons, but couldn't afford privates. Yay! I love when things work out!

Someone in my networking group decided to promote a new Zoomba class for me.

I got a phone call from a studio owner who might bring students to my event next month.

A student gave us $830 for lessons she will take over the next month.

Another student bought 3 pairs of shoes.

My son came home from band camp.

Another studio owner is interested in my event.

1. I helped a fellow gym mate who is much stronger than I with a technique to make him stronger!

2. I bench pressed more weight than I had before!

3. I did a walk about our yard with my wife and cat who thinks he is a dog; taking time to smell the coffee, the roses, lavender and rosemary!

4. Recieved an email from a friend inviting me to attend their Rotary meeting in a new location!

5. I spent some time trimming a couple of palm trees!

My building owner said it was okay to paint on the side of the building!

My new trainee showed great progress toward her goal of becoming a dance teacher.

Another staff member is showing greater confidence and optimism toward his job.

I finalized the artwork on my snazzy new sign.

I got another inquiry from a potential intern.

1. I slept in and didn't feel guilty about missing my usual walk down the the beach, swim and coffee then walk up very steep hill home. This is generally a great thing to do but this morning I was dog tired and needed to rest.
2. I did manage to go to yoga, even though I was ambivalent because of feeling tired - and it was very good to go.
3. I had breakfast and a chat with my good friends who run a local cafe - I like to patronise the business since it can be a hard business to be in.
4. I bought and ate healthy things - fruit & veg - and I made my dinner to bring to work as well as fruit salad for tomorrow's breakfast, hence saving a heap of money too.
5. Twice today I almost made some unnecessary purchases but changed my mind and my bank account is grateful!

My husband participated in my event and made it lots less stressful for me!

I got lots of compliments on how the event went, even though it was much more modest than I had hoped.

One student had a huge breakthrough this week. He's suddenly a much more confident dancer!

I was so very proud of the students that I coached. They did very, very well!

The new owners of the local coffee shop donated some coupons and a door prize. Also, they stayed open late just for my event!

I found an adorable specialty cake that was perfect for my departing staff member. She loved it.

Love and blessings,
Rachel

One of my dearest students gave me a nice gift today. She also gave us a check for a service, which is always nice. She also said that she is likely moving out of the country. This would normally be not great, but she is represents the largest lesson liability that I have taken on from the previous owner. If she leaves and doesn't claim the remainder of her lessons, then I have effectively been absolved of about twenty seven thousand dollars in debt. THAT'S great.

I almost finished the choreography for my wedding couple.

My hip hop crew came back to rent the studio, and actually showed up on time and left on time! Yay! They also paid for 2 hours instead of just one.

My new trainee is doing better and better. I'm so excited for her. She's going to be a great teacher!

One of my guys brought in over two thousand dollars by himself today.

Another student came by to give me a gift and some money. Wow!

It still works, and it's getting easier!!

Love and blessings,
Rachel

1. I had coffee with my 84 yr old swimming buddy. We have been doing this after Saturday races for 10 years but more and more I am thankful for this because I know it won't be forever.
2. I got some really good readings and advice from the I-Ching.
3. I went sailing on my regular boat and really enjoyed the day with two guys I sail with. It was very light winds and we bobbed around with others in our 'race' which seemed to go nowhere until the committee boat shortened the course - or we would still be out there. So beautiful on Sydney Harbour today.
4. Tonight I am acting manager and the caseworkers on shift with me are some of my favourite people.
5. I booked my ticket to India and I am planning to go to an ayurvedic clinic.

cheers Pauline

1. Saw a big, content looking sea otter splashing lazily and close to shore. A very rare sighting in my parts, as they have been extinct here for over 100 years from Russian hunters. Everyone wonders when they'd make it back.

2. A tomato on my tomato plant just began to turn orange from green. There are many other green "berries" and they'll probably copy the first one soon.

3. I played with my two kittens.

4. I came to this forum and expanded my awareness.

5. I shifting my thinking to more positive, and it felt authentic this time, like "home", and no strain behind it. Getting the hang of it again.

1.I am organising my trip for 31 Aug - a whole month overseas!
2. I have my shopfitting course tonight - we are really enjoying designing an office refurbishment - and soon we will start making the shelves and benches etc. It's a great class with fantastic people.
3. The air here is very clear.
4. I bought some nice apples this morning. I am wary of apples as they often look good but are soft from being stored for over a year. These ones are crisp, which I really like.
5. I have a job where I can use the internet and come to this forum whenever I like.

I’m having an easy day at work.

I got the news that I got a bonus and a raise.

I got news that helps me decide on a new biz venture.

I have no desire to drink a soda. If you don’t think that’s a great thing, see the link below.

Soda - Carbonated Killer

It’s sunny and I’m getting off on time to enjoy some of it.
