1. My cleaner left me a message to say she would be away for 3 weeks, which actually correspond to the time I am minding a friend's house. I would have still paid her to come and clean even though I wouldn't really need it. Now I will save the money. Amazing synchronicity.
2. I asked the universe for a great parking spot near my office and there it was waiting for me - untimed and free! 3. Since my fiance and I were successful at the tribunal I got a cheque today as a refund for the $1400 fee I paid to appeal. 4. I did an overnight shift last night and was concerned that I wouldn't be up to seeing my therapy client in my own practice at 7.30 this morning, but she called to ask for a change to tomorrow morning - so I got to go home and sleep before seeing my other clients this evening. 5. I have been researching airfares to bring my fiance out once his visa papers are finally completed. The flights now all go via Singapore and I have enough frequent flyer points to go and meet him there - and maybe have a few days together before bringing him to Australia. Very exciting. |

Richard,
Thanks for the opportunity to think and write about this. Here goes: 1. Was able to stay home in pajamas to nurse the beginning of a cold. Feeling like new now. 2. Took naps when I needed. 3. Ate cake. 4. The guy (handyman) who helps from time-to-time around the house set up my gas stove so I could keep warm all day! (That was SO appreciated). 4. Cuddled with my french poodle, Dali. :-) -Romy |

Found some costumes that had been missing for almost a year. They were stored in my mother's shed. 4. I found work for a friend today who had been laid off. 5. Let's see what else I can find today. Anyone missing anything. LOL Appreciation from the Heart, Richard De Haven |

What a great day - 1. Got up at 5AM. 2. Saw the sun rise. 3. Drove across the lake and over the mountains to work. 4. Spoke about Men's Health to a group of workmates for Movember (a charitable movement to raise awareness of depression and prostate cancer by growing the Mo for a month). 5. 1. My friend and I won $13.80 on Ozlotto. This is the 5th week running that we have won similar amounts - never had that before. Hope it is a portent of things to come!
2. Went to get another certificate of notice of intention to get married - the one from last year has expired and the Australian Embassy in Delhi said they wanted another one before they issue my fiance's visa - it isn't actually required in the legislation, but it isn't wise to argue with them as then they just bury your papers in the in tray. Had a lovely chat to the celebrant. 3. Bought a new tape measure and stud finder for my shopfitting course. 4. Had a great session with my first executive client - another one is starting in January. 5. My bank balance is so much healthier in the last few months. Pauline |

1. I awoke to a warm sunny day.
2. I went for a short walk. 3. I had a refreshing swim. 4. I sat out on the deck and read the sport pages (I don't like to read the first 4 or 5 pages because of the sensationalism factor). 5. I sat and listened to the water trickle down the rocks in our water feature. And it's only mid morning. Plenty of good stuff still to come today. What a great life this is. I woke up feeling great in spite of an outer circumstance that could have thrown me off course
I gained new insights during my morning meditation about holding a positive vibration Thought to myself, "I am ready to receive" and found in my inbox a link from a friend to videos on prosperity rituals and how to receive abundance There is a 42-Day World Gratitude event that started yesterday and the daily exercises fit right in with what we are learning. So it's additional reinforcement. Finally followed through with my intention to post on the forum Truly grateful. |

Well I woke up angry so I have come here to shift my focus.
1. Squeezed my own orange juice before leaving for work at 5am - such a good start to the day -better than coffee straight up. 2. I am working an extra shift this morning which means much appreciated extra money. 3. Since it is so early in this particular day (6.30am now) I am anticipating great things - one of which is I get to see my TAFE counsellor this afternoon and I am appreciative that this service is provided for free. 4. My car - I love my beautiful red car. 5. We are gyprocking a wall in my course tonight - a lot of fun and my classmates are great. This is the last week of term - so I have almost completed first year - 2 more to go! cheers Pauline |

Hi Tom!
I believe in America it is called dry walling. We built a wall frame from timber - mine has a window opening, levelled it, plumbed it and joined our walls together in our class. We made them 1/2 size so it looks cute. Then you put sheets of plasterboard on (gyprock is the brand name I think), then a base coat and top coat over the joins, then tonight we put the final coat and skirting boards and architraves around the window. I am the only girl in the class - it isn't common for women to do this trade study - I am enjoying being the only girl. I go to the night class which tends to have more mature people who do other work during the day. The day classes are full of 17 yr old boys (apprentices) who are hard to manage. I joined part of a day class recently to catch up on an assignment. Apparently the boys were the quietest they had ever been that day. They were fascinated and asked if I was an apprentice. I said, no I am a psychologist - that really made their eyes go wide. Several of them asked if they could carry the timber for me. And now the teacher tells me they ask how I am going and want to know which wall is mine set up in the practical area. cheers Pauline |

Thank You Pauline for explaining gyprocking to me!
I enjoy building things and have done some dry walling! I have also done some work with plaster and stucco! Girls; Women are quite rapidly moving into fields that were at one time men only; and as a result are improving those fields. I am a member of Rotary which at one time had been a mens only organization! Allowing women in has improved the organization! 1. Worked near home this morning (usually I have an 80 minute drive).
2. Now writing up reports at home (instead of in the office). 3. Noticed that the sun is quite warm and the sky is mainly blue. 4. Working in my shorts and t-shirt instead of business attire. 5. Headed off for a relaxing weekend down the coast in 2 hours. Life is good!!
