The past few days I've been waiting for contact back on a couple of creative projects... sometimes the rat of self-doubt niggles, and sees the people involved discussing it in negative terms, rejecting it, whatever...

BUT wait!

(Bear with me - I've not gone completely crazy!)

I then, visualise them all kind of frowning, but right then a chord strikes up in the background - a new person walks in, a superior, someone who can Make It Happen Right for Me - the music starts, and they ALL start dancing about and singing how great this is, just like in a musical, Singin' In The Rain, or Little Shop Of Horrors...

Musical theatre may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's chock-full of underdogs whose talent is appreciated at last, gloom-to-joy transitions, and things suddenly going right at the drop of a hat.

At worst - this is a fun way not to obsess about something that's out of my hands - at best? Maybe a CMI helping me (I truly believe this is beneficial for them as well, "more in use value" etc) and is just synching with the process of our great new agreement working out...
