Hi All
As I stated last time I had been away for along time and I decided to come back and redo the course because my life seemed to be missing something. It seems to me that the forum just lately is attracting a lot of people that seem to be after "something for nothing" and also some envious people that have questioned Rebeccas' motives re the SOGR. Regards Rebecca I would like to say that the work she has and is doing to present the SOGR to everyone in a structured and intelligent way is worth any rewards that she may get.Fortunately I don't think she buys into these comments and criticisms but please just lay off and follow the course. Secondly there seems to be a lot of the "I have read the book ,now what"brigade. The whole point of SOGR is that it is a commitment life long to follow the advice and instructions.When things happen are in direct harmony with how closely you have followed the teachings.It is no good to just cherry pick the bits you like and do them occassionaly,because that will just frustrate you NOTHING will happen. Those of you who remember me will remember my label CROZ that was created in line with my vision.As a quick recap I am a clothing manufacturer and during the course part of my vision was to create a range of garments to sell worldwide,enabling me to travel and have an income. Well let me tell you during the time I was on the course things went absolutely terrific. All the R&D was done we came up with some really great designs we made all the samples etc.. and we also got accepted by Austrade a government Dept. that backs you dollar for dollar in any promotional or advertising expenses. Well we were off to the moon but what happened, the old way of thinking and the old way of business crept back, and where are all the samples?,you guessed it, on the floor of my warehouse.Well let me tell you I am now back with SOGR and I am not going to lose my desire and vision again. This is an example of expecting things to go on auto pilot once they start,you must keep doing the things in a certain way ALL the time.There is only one person to blame that the thing did not continue and that is me because I stopped following the teachings.My advice is do not try and force any action just totally believe in what you want and follow the teachings in their entirety and things WILL happen. Well good luck to you all I am off to Thailand today to speak to some distributors about my label.At last I am back on track. Stay positive. Things always turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out. Cheers CROZ |

Rebecca uses the phrase "we have to change our old habitual thinking. To me, this indicates that we have to become aware, awake, conscious. Ideas planted in our minds by well-meaning parents, teachers, spiritual leaders, etc. grow "unconsciously." over the years.
How do you stop yourself from forming a habit? I think by becoming aware or conscious (not always easy) of the habit. It's been said that it takes 21 days to form a habit. Perhaps if we can be aware of a habit forming, and then intervening within the 21 day formulation period, we can stop it. I'm no expert in the habit arena, so any input will be greatly appreciated. I'm here to learn and to contribute my insights as well. Much abundance to all, Tom Much abundance to all, TOM Interested in turning $25 into $75,000 or more? http://www.cheerofgiving.com |

Hi, All;
It's great to read through all the posts and observe the different comments and reactions to SOGR. You've got those who go to the 'gym' of life, take a look around and get envious or intimidated by all the 'body builder' types walking around. The envious ones will never do anything because it's so much easier for them to attack those that do take consistent action to improve themselves. The intimidated ones won't do anything because when they look around, all they see is futility, "I'll *NEVER* be able to be like that... why try?" There are those who SAY they want the results of the more successful 'body builders'. They go out and get themselves all geared up, buying the best exercise outfits and pay for a year's membership at the gym.... they go in and do their ONE PERFECT PUSHUP, trot over to the mirror to check their muscle growth, and get all discouraged because they don't have the 'body builder' body they thought they would have. "What's with THIS?", they mutter to themselves. "I bought the clothes and the membership. I did my pushup as perfectly as they told me to do. This stuff doesn't work." In my music school, I teach a step-by-step system, which not only includes *WHAT* to do in the physical sense of reading and playing, but since being on SOGR I have also introduced my students to how to THINK and FEEL in a certain way, while doing the mechanical things, in order to get maximum results. After working in this system for an entire class, I ask my students just before they go home, "Does this system work?" They usually say "Yes! I'm convinced. I see a big difference." They are always shocked when I tell them *THE SYSTEM* didn't work. In fact, the system did not do *ANYTHING*. It was the *STUDENT* who did all the work! And it's the student who will change. The songs that they learn don't get any harder or easier. Heck, it's still the same printed page. And until people realize this tremendous distinction, there will always be those who are envious and intimidated... those who do their ONE PERFECT REP... And those like Croz who saw the difference between following the system, getting away from the system, and then COMING BACK! Destined to be Rich asked the question, "How do you stop yourself from forming a habit?" YOU DON'T! We are ALL creatures of habit. And that's a good thing. Eventually, we all want to think, act and BE RICH! I know you meant to ask, "How do you stop yourself from forming a habit that doesn't support your goals?" You can only replace a habit by forming another one. You may have to start slowly, just like the 'body builder' types might have had to start with 5 lb. weights and 5 repetitions. They just kept at it, gradually increasing the weights and reps until they got what they want. Remember, being rich doesn't mean you won't have challenges. Quite the opposite, in fact. People with a million dollars have *MILLION DOLLAR* challenges. So, today if you find yourself having a *problem* with your $50 phone bill, or the $300 car repair, or the $5,000 tax bill... how the heck are you going to handle the million dollar challenges. These are the SMALL WEIGHTS! Lift them! Apply the SOGR principles and soon those $50 bills will become the proverbial 5 lb. weights/ 5 reps. Apply the 'Certain Way' lovingly to these small *Gifts*, and soon you will develop the 'muscle' to handle the bigger responsibilities. In summary, SOGR principle do NOT work... YOU DO! Take it all the way to the top this time Croz! Every time you encourage others to believe in themselves, you magnify your own greatness! Russ Hamel http://www.russhamel.com |

The words "habit" and "autopilot" refer to the unconscious. SOGR teaches us to do things CONSCIOUSLY.

If you do something over and over it becomes a habit -autopilot.

Hi CROZ,
Thank you for your honesty. I believe your quote below sums up how to apply the principles of SOGR pretty well: This is an example of expecting things to go on auto pilot once they start,you must keep doing the things in a certain way ALL the time. "Autopilot" got most of us to where we are, up 'til now. Thank you for your post.
