Behind where we live in a "modest" semi detached (Duplex) there is a field which homes a couple of pitches for the village rugby team, it has a dry play area for kids and an allotment.

We regularly walk our dog around the field, and as I do I visualise living in my dream house surrounded by land just about the size of the fields.

Last Saturday as I surveyed it I estimated it was probably 10 or 11 acres altogther.

Well my present lucrative contract is coming to an end and few companies are taking on staff so it looks like I will have a lot more time at the beginning of next year to spend growing my other busines

However I sat down with my wife to discuss the how we should deal with the situation and get the life we want - our family CMI is to drive an RV across the States next summer for our dream holiday.

She suggested refinancing, renting out our home and finding a rental place ourselves. We would have plenty enough capital to tide us over for a year or so while our business grew, and we'd have our trip in summer with no stress.

Well she went and put the kids to bed and I got on the internet to look for places to rent. Now we live in an area where housing and land is expensive - probably the highest in England - and we don't want to move far because we don't want to take the kids out of school.

I was very surprised to find a nice big house for a very reasonable and affordable rent on the other side of our village. Actually I will rephrase that - for a 4 bedroom detached house in the area it is dirt cheap!!

Hmm I thought, and then I looked at the details - it comes with 11 acres of land!!!!

My word.

It transpires that the owner was going to redevelop the plot but like all building in this country, it has stopped. He had rented it out for twice the rent it is now, but it has stood empty for a few months and he just wants to get someone in there now. My wife saw it the other day and we are looking at it together as a family this weekend.

I am amazed and grateful, beyond words, and I don't tell all this to boast, none of this is down to me, but it is the formless. Or as I would say, God.

Simply to say - "SOGR? It works"!

Your experience is amazing, how effortless it seems this came to you. Almost in a matter-of-fact way.

I wonder if you rephrase your questions how different the outcome might be...

Just some thoughts, try them out yourself. Perhaps:

"Can I negotiate with the landlord for him to pay for the work that needs done on this great rental piece?"

"Could we share the expenses?"

"How can I make this easy?"

"How can we agree on an arrangement that is great for both of us?"

I'm just throwing these out, who know's what can happen. The possibilities are endless...

Darren, what it seems to me is that perhaps this place is evidence of the formless moving to fulfill your desire and this is the first step and enables you to refine your CMI so that it has everything that you want, including a well kept place.

I reread your original post and it says that you don't want to move too far and you don't want to move the kids' from the school where they are.

Perhaps focusing on what you do want, such as living closely to where you are, being a comfortable distance from the kids' school so they can stay where they are... etc can help the formless really fill in the blanks...

I've found myself when I've created mixed messages, I've ended up somewhere quite different to where I 'thought' I was going LOL. The retrospectoscope is useful for seeing the links, and I'm seeking to make it really smooth so I end up where I choose to be in all instances. The unsureness indicates it's not quite 'right' and your CMI needs some tweaking. Great feedback from your inner self!

I have observed in my own life that being very clear, specific and positive in what I desire is key in attracting that.

The more refined we get in our thinking, the more fine tuned we are wise to be. I've mentioned before in the forum a quote I love and I can't remember where I read it "thought is the razor's edge between spirit and matter". When we are in denser conscionsness, it is not a razor's edge, it is more a super highway and it is not so obvious or clear that thinking leads to outcomes.

That razor's edge between spirit and matter is the line we tread as we become more aware and more conscious about living on the creative plane and being, living, doing, thinking in a certain SOGR way.

Gratitude for the signs of what you want coming and refinement of your CMI are the next steps!

It's getting really exciting now Darrin. I look forward to the next installment.

Well as an update we saw the property in question today. I would say that there is a very good reason why the rental they are asking is so low. There is a lot of work that need to be done on it.

Question is , is it worth spending time energy and money on it like that if it just a rental property.

If we were thinking of buying it and the price was good for the same reason I would not hesitate becaue it would be ours.

For this I am not so sure...
