Hello guys!
I like and enjoy your forum. From time to time I come back here just to read all your inspirational and inspiring messages and experiences. I thought it would be wonderful if I also share some experiences.
Pardon me, my English is not that fluent but I will try my best. I am from Philippines and I am living here in Canada.
When I was a kid, we were poor. We were renting on a small apartment. My father’s job was not permanent. If we got a little money, we were happy. What was important for us, as long as we got 3 meals a day, we should be thankful. Most of that time, my mom and I used to chat for hours and daydream. We dream that we have our own house and that my sister and I have our own bedroom. In other words, we visualize a lot. I remember my mom says…it’s a nice feeling just to think about it…will it happen?" I reply, “why not…nothing is impossible”. A lot of time, we just laughed.
Sometimes we all sat together and daydream. My dad would just draw images of the house and cars we liked. As years passed by, for some reasons our lives started to get better, my dad was making money. We could afford some nice things, at least. Until the time came, those things we daydream were starting to materialize. And it did happen. We got a house and a car. And my dad job wasn’t that permanent but money and opportunities just come along the way. I realized that things really happen if you think about it and you believe on it. My family and I looked back at those days and we believed that if you dream…things happen! You'll never know...

I told my husband about visualization. He was a little bit skeptical.

He wanted a new car but we didn't buy one. He was worried because he thought we cannot afford it. I said to him, "Never say we cannot afford it because if you believe then we will not be able to afford it." I decided to hang a picture of a car beside our bed. I picture ourselves driving it. After a few months, it happened. We got our first brand new car. My husband started to believe a bit.

We were renting in an old apartment facing the water. And there are some nice places close to the water and to his boat. He always wishes that we live in one of those places. I told him to take a picture of it and we will hang it on the wall. So did and at times we look at the picture and talk abou it. After a few months, we thought maybe we can go to some open houses just for curiosity, just to see what it looks like. So we surfed on the net and checked if there are some open houses nearby where we live. We took the addresses and went to it. While we were walking, we saw an open house, but it wasn’t on our list… it was a condominum and looked expensive but why not see it. We went upstairs and my husband reminded me that I shouldn’t raise my hope to this place. The moment I stepped on that unit, right away, I picture us living on that place. One of those thing, when you see a place, you feel that this is your home. I felt that energy all over me and I wanted the place. I wish for it overnight. Same as usual, I daydream. It was a great feeling. The next day, my husband just called our friend whose a real state agent…ask some information. To make the long story short…we got the place within a week. Unbelievable! Honestly, it was like a roller coaster ride for us. But we stayed calmed and told my husband that we’ll be fine and we are going to get the place.
Here I am now, sitting and typing this, in one of the rooms that I imagined would my office room. Smile And our place is 5 minutes walk from his boat. It is not exactly the same look as the picture that we hanged on the wall but it is much better.

Finally, my husband believes it now.Smile

For me, when you dream, dream big because I believe it will happen. It may not be today but anytime tomorrow.
A lot of times, I daydream…I just don’t wish and hope for it but I close my eyes and feel it.

Moreover, I have a book I got few years ago. I got this one free, I noticed in one of those ads on a newspaper,” Prayer for Prosperity”. I sent my address and they sent it to me. I don’t remember the name of the author I think it was from a priest. There was also a tape included…I guess it was like SOGRN type of thing. My mom kept the book but there is one page I liked and I copied it.I read it everyday. I would like to share it you guys…this is a powerful prayer to me.

PRAYER FOR PROSPERITY

God is my Source of supply. He meets all my needs in perfect timing at all times. And there is always a divine surplus.
His wealth now flows into my life- freely tirelessly and endlessly .Everyday in everyway, i am growing richer and richer. God’s unlimited good now comes to me in a flood of abundance!
I realize that money is good. I consider money as a symbol of God's unlimited Good, Love and Riches and an instrument for good. Thus I use it only to bless and prosper others.
Freely I receive and freely and joyously I give. For whatever good I give to others, that will I also receive from life. And whatever I withhold to others I withhold it to myself. And whatever I wish for others, I wish it for myself. Every good i sow that will I also reap.
So I sow only thoughts of prosperity, love, joy, and generosity. I don't envy any man for God has enough riches for everyone. I wish riches for others and riches will also flow to me.
I know i shall never want, for God is my true Source of supply. And God is the only power. Nothing can challenge the Will and Love of God. My riches now come to me and nothing can delay their physical manifestation. Nothing can stop God's riches from circulating in my life. His Goodness I do trust. All my debts are now paid. All my needs are now met.

I now open my mind and myself to brilliant ideas that lead me to wealth. God is opening opportunities for me to gain my share of His Riches. God is reaching out for people who can help and prosper me. God is guiding me in all my ways. I take Him as my partner. And with God I cannot fail.
With God it is impossible for me to fail, because one with God is a majority.I put my trust and confidence in the Goodness, Love and Wisdom of God. His ways are sure. And His methods are ingenious. God can and will make a way where there is no way.
I am a child of the richest Father in the universe .Yes I am rich, for I am a child of a rich God. I claim my share of God's Riches now.
I ask, believe and claim that this is so. And it is now done in perfect order--in Jesus Christ's name I praise and thank the Lord for the immediate manifestation of my good and riches...NOW
Thank you Father. Amen.

<GREAT STORY!!>

Chair,

What a WONDERFUL post!! It sounds like you are doing it very well. Reminds me of what these people have been saying all along.

'Dream no small dreams, for they have no power to move the hearts of men.' -- Johann von Goethe

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -- Eleanor Roosevelt

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or old laws will be expanded and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with a license of a higher order of beings.” -- Henry David Thoreau

“,… take some section of your life that seems beyond redemption and rearrange it in your mind's eye. Make it as you would like it to be. Persuade yourself of its truth and wait, because its fulfillment has its own appointed hour. It ripens, it will flower. If it be long, then wait, for it is sure and it will not be late. It will come into your objective world to bear witness to the reality of your assumption. Then you, too will know that the world is a dream, and you are its dreamer, the Jesus Christ of the New Testament and the Jehovah of the Old.” – Neville

"First, have a dream, and by a dream I mean a day dream, a glorious, wonderful day dream. Then ask yourself, 'What would it be like?' Then catch the mood of the wish fulfilled and drench yourself with that feeling. Then for all your tomorrows try to the best of your ability to walk faithful to that assumption, and I am telling you from my own experience, in a way that no one knows, it will come and it will come suddenly." - From "Immortal Man" by Neville.

"Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass!"...Paul J. Meyer

“The important thing is that you actively put yourself in the vibration you must for your desired outcome to be created.” - Multimillionaire John Assaraf, from his p. 168 of his book ‘The Street Kid’s Guide To Having It All’

"What I am most happy about is that I can zero in on a vision of where I want to be in the future. I can see it so clearly in front of me when I daydream that it's almost a reality. Then I get this easy feeling, and I don't have to be uptight to get there because I already feel like I'm there, that it's just a matter of time." Arnold Schwarzenegger - Body Builder, Actor, Politician

“Live in the new house, mentally, until it takes form around you physically. In the mental realm, enter at once into full enjoyment of the things you want. “Whatsoever things ye ask for when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them,” said Jesus. See the things you want as if they were actually around you all the time. See yourself as owning and using them. Make use of them in imagination just as you will use them when they are your tangible possessions. Dwell upon your mental picture until it is clear and distinct, and then take the mental attitude of ownership toward everything in that picture. Take possession of it, in mind, in the full faith that it is actually yours. Hold to this mental ownership. Do not waiver for an instant in the faith that it is real.

And remember what was said in a proceeding chapter about gratitude: Be as thankful for it all the time as you expect to be when it has taken form. The person who can sincerely thank God for the things which as yet he owns only in imagination has real faith. He will get rich. He will cause the creation of whatever he wants.” – Wallace Wattles

I am glad you like my story guys..
Exatly phil! We've got to see ourselves as owning and using that something we want. Daydream and enjoy it! And we always have to remember to be greatful in every little things that makes us happy.
Let us think the nicest things in life... Look at images that will make us smile. Set aside those worries, doubts and frustrations, they are just temporary.
And when you dream, dream big! It may just be a dream for now but believe it or not, it will come true...
God bless us all!

Wow what a great story. Thnx for sharing. From a few weeks for the car...to a few days for the condo...I wonder what you will manifest in a few hours Smile

Just as an aside:

Last night I saw your post and for some reason I started to read your post and could only make it past the first two or three sentences. Guess I was mentally drained last night so I took Mr. Wattles advice not to overwork and decided to rest for the night.

This morning your post just filled me with joy. Thnx for sharing your story and also the prayer. Smile

The car was bought 2 years ago. When my mother (83 years old) in law died, my husband inherited small amount of money. With that amount, he was able to buy the car that he wanted. He used to drive 1985 model - a honda. His favorite honda started quitting on him.
Yes! few months..after his mother passed away. He was suprised that his mother had some money in the bank.

Thanks so much Chair and Phil for the wonderful uplifting posts. I am now realizing the blessing of a new job with more money with a great company that I have been visualizing for about four months now.Is God ever good to us beyond what we believe CAN happen? He will not violate His own law and we can't expect otherwise.I am so glad we are given a chance to grow. Thanks again!

Dear Chair and all,

Thank you so much for your lovely sharing. I am so touched by the prosperity prayer and your replies that I am propelled to taking action to join you guys! I have always been an observer and feels that my contribution is insignificant. I join SOGR in December, & apart from reading the book, i did nothing. This is my second time reading the forum.

God bless you all & I will be back again!
