Today I had a wonderful phone call from unexpected source. I had a family who saw the Wizard of Oz and enjoyed it so much that they asked if me and my business partner would like to come to their home town in another state and create a show with local kids. They would rent the theater and pay all the expenses. The best part we can stay in their 4 story home on a lake.

That's pretty cool, I think.

Wow Richard, you are just going from strength to strength. Very inspiring - and springboarded by some decisions a while ago to just go for it.

thanks

I just got off the phone with someone who saw our show and they want to give us a $1,000 donation. That's now a little over $99,000.

My last goal after I revised it was $100,000. Anybody want to help with the remaining $1,000? You can go to my theater website and make a donation for any amount. www.childrensplaytimeproductions.com

One other exciting thing, I had two families offer me and my crew leaders their vacation homes for use. One is a large home in Hawaii on the beach. I've never been. Guess where I am going within the next 6 months?

The other family has 8 houses around the country including a winery. Now I am trying to decide which one to go to. They said I can use more than one. Well see which ones.

Richard,
This is so inspirational! I had seen the thread before but hadn't opened it. I decided to read it this evening and I'm glad I did! Very exciting how the money just flowed in!! I'm quite sure that other $1000 will arrive in short order. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Godspeed,
Betty

Hi Richard

This is inspirational reading for a newbi like me.

I haven't been here long, so I'm still working on "the person I want to be" stage before the doing and having.

But this is really inspirational reading, thanks very much for sharing.

I AM READY! I AM WILLING!

Blessings

We are doing our books this week for the IRS. It's looking like perhaps we passed the $100,000 mark.

We hired a book keeper to do this. He may have found some extra money that wasn't accounted for in the original tally.

I was also looking back in my forum comments from 2006. I raised a little over $60,000 for one of my programs. I was just realizing that came just as easy.

After raising the $60,000 I forgot that I had set a goal of $150,000 for one project

I'm now much closer. Hitting the $100,000 mark for one show has shifted my perception to something greater. I don't know how to explain it, but trust me, it has.

Here's the original link to that post.
