So is that a reflection of me?

And, it's my guess that he grew somewhat just because you have been being more of who you really are (e.g., wonderful, evolving, more realizing who you really are) and he's gotten to see that, sometimes up close. (I wouldn't be surprised if he's getting a crush on you.)

That makes me feel rather extraordinary.
Could you carry that feeling with you, when you're not here, online?

If you could, might that help affect what you attract?

I want to ask you people who say this,… If this is so, if all are perfect the way they are, then why do so many experience conditions, situations or relationships they don’t want?

Now, if you were to say to people, “You are exquisite! You are magnificent! You are wonderful and virtually unlimited potential! You are precious and you are sooo worthy of every good thing!” … If you were to say that, then I would agree.

Then, if people were to ask me, “If I’m so wonderful and exquisite, why don’t I experience wonderful and terrific relationships, situations and conditions?” I would reply something to the effect, “Because YOU don’t fully believe you are wonderful, exquisite, precious, worthy, etc.”

Fair enough Phil,

When I say "you are perfect just the way you are," I only mean that you do not have to change in order to be worthy. I mean just what you said above. Only your point is well taken that there may be more effective ways to get the point across. Smile

Love and blessings,
Rachel

I agree with Rachel.
Also I'm not a lover of fixing people. It implies that there is something wrong with a person.
A wilting plant is still perfect and exactly as nature intended. When you water it, it grows again. Is this better? Only if you want the plant to grow.
I'm not sure I understand my own explanation.

Want to clear one thing up, I don't mean Annievt is a wilting plant. (Maybe the people around her who don't just want to go to an arts museum are. Wink )

I would clarify and say that this is a reflection of your internal THOUGHTS and BELIEFS, not who you ARE. Smile

Annie, have you tried meetup.com, I found it really useful when I want to meet people who are guaranteed to share a niche interest (it's active in the UK & US, and usually events are free).

And have you read the book The Rules which I interpret at least as being aware that you are a valuable resource, and not pouring that resource all over people, because that makes it (aka YOU!) seem valueless?

It has a bit on friendships as well, and for people like me who can be very "in your face" and upfront with others, it taught me some useful skills about holding back a little, in different situations. Smile

Of course it has its critics, but then again what doesn't? Wink
