Passing through a bookstore a few days ago, I happened to glance at a book title that I feel certain some of you here have come across also - "100 BOOKS TO READ BEFORE YOU DIE".

Since then, even a casual search on Google on the phrase "100 books" produces (literally) thousands of results where different individuals or groups of individuals have put together their own recommendations of the top 100 books that are recommended reading.

Just from a casual glance, very few of those lists carry within them The Science Of Getting Rich, or any other similar works.

So, just for the sake of demonstrating that a list can be compiled featuring the writings and wisdom of Mr. Wattles and writers of a similar bent, it might be IN-teresting to see what a listing generated by this forum would contain (if this thread should catch on, of course):

My only request is that, for ease of identification, any book title be highlighted with BOLD font, so it can be easily spotted - otherwise, feel free to list as many titles as you please; we don't necessarily need to stop at 100.

With that, I'll start with six books by a writer who lived close to the same time as "Wally", but whose own works probably have impacted the world in a similar manner, and whose works rank as personal favorites of mine - namely, Thomas Troward.

Not to discourage us making our own list, but my iphone has an ap called "Self Help Classics" and it includes maybe 40 books, including "The Science of Getting Rich," "Think and Grow Rich," "The Prince," and many more.

However, this thread is supposed to be for our favorite, SOGR related books, right?

Not all of the books listed support SOGR -- for instance "The Prince" by Machiavelli -- soooo NOT SOGR.
