To the tune of Let It Snow. Haha

This is my new theme song. I think I'll write some lyrics when I get a few minutes. Do you want to hear something funny? You all know I am biding my time in real estate until I feel the time is right to put myself fully into EFT.

Last year, and the one before, I worked my proverbial buns off trying to be successful. You have to work hard to be successful, right? Ha! The only thing that made me so much more successful last year (in a "bad" econonomy) was thinking in a certain way. None of that happened until, I quit working so hard and started thinking and feeling great.

So, I am doing my CMI for EFT and I feel the shift. I feel it coming. It feels GREAT! In the meantime I am trying to more than fill my space in real estate. Sooooo, what do you think is happening?

I have two new listings. And more phone calls every week. And in addition to those, my first commercial listing (which will allow me to take that step from real estate to EFT). I decided not to work with buyers anymore because up till now, that is where the frustration and negativity is most likely to appear. (no, that is probably not really true, for those of you I know will ask. Haha)

So, I let go of needing to have both sides of the transaction. I just am referring the buyer to other agents. It helps the other agent, I get a referral fee. I am happy because I don't have to deal with buyer issues. And I keep getting more business. Just this week, I've had two people ask me for help that I have referred to my own broker and will bring me referral fees. I get paid to help them find a good agent and I just collect the check. Big Grin I could get used to that!

So, I am scratching my head, and I am grateful. By the end of the year, I will be helping dozens of people every month overcome the negative blocks that keep them from the life they were meant to live. Yeehaw!

PS, I hear a lot of people (taking commercial real estate classes this week) saying, "in this economy...blah, blah, blah" and I just chuckle and think, "as you wish."

There is one lady in the classes who is extremely successful. Everyone else is complaining and she keeps telling about all the success she is having. I know she is living in the certain way, and probably doesn't even know it. I like her! If one person can be successful in a down economy, anyone can.

High Five Dawn. It's amazing how it all flows so easily when we let it. Let's hear more.

Hi Dawn,
There is a great quote from Abraham-Hicks which I just read today and which I think applies here:
quote:
One who is mostly an observer thrives in good times but suffers in bad times because what he is observing is already vibrating, and as he observes it, he includes it in his vibrational countenance. As he includes it, the Universe accepts that as his point of attraction and gives him more of it. So the better it gets the better it gets. Or the worse it gets the worse it gets. While one who is a visionary thrives in all times.

I'm living proof that this is true, because I am an artist,(artists are supposed to starve, right? NOT!) and I've got better and higher-paying orders coming in all the time. I just booked my first trip that I've paid for with my art, and am going to Arizona next month. And I'll bet you're right about the woman who is so successful-she probably doesn't pay attention to all the "scare-city" talk.
You GO girl! And a "high five" from me as well.

Well, high-fives all around, then! Way to go, Dawn.

Amazing what happens when we let go of all that tight, tense, gotta-make-it-happen stuff, isn't it? Big Grin

(And, hey, you might want to get to know that woman! Even though you're not wanting to pursue real estate as your primary business, being around people with that attitude (and vibration) raises your own. Plus you can learn a LOT and in the most enjoyable ways.

I'll bet if you told her how much you appreciate her attitude and point of view, she'd be happy to get to know YOU, too!)

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

Great article Dawn

It does not matter what you chase, it will always run away. Always best to attract things.

Julia you are a shining example of these teachings and I am proud of you. I cannot believe the change you have made not only to your life, but I feel that your art is improving as well.

Have great fun in all you do.

Abundance to All

Thanks so much Croz, I really appreciate that-and YOU for saying it. Smile I DO plan to visit Australia, and would love to meet you in person.

Oh yes, I got her business card. I made some positive comments to her which she agreed and replied positively to. I mentioned something I did not have experience with and she offered to help me. So, I plan on emailing her next week. There were a couple of other people willing to help with the reason I was taking the classes in the first place.

Julia, I have my eye on you because it is so fun to see someone experiencing success in a certain way. Thanks all.

Congratulaions Dawn,

It's so good to hear that you are shifting this way and that you are having fun. I absolutely know what it is to struggle so hard and not get where you want to be, and then 'out of the blue' something turns up with no effort from you.

We are all cheering you on into an easy, fun and abundant life.

cheers
Pauline

I just love letting things flow and be easy! Taking I had two choices on how to spend my day. I could either spend it 'productively' at home on my computer looking for a new job. Or, I could take my book to the park, lie on the grass and read. I spent almost the entire day at the park, lieing on the grass reading my book and I feel amazing! It was just what my soul needed!

Heres to letting go of 'working hard' to be successful and to doing things that make us feel great!

Another high five to you Dawn. Smile

Shannon
