Clarity About What You REALLY Want

It seems it helps to get clear about EXACTLY what you want. Case in point: Arnold Schwarzennegar.

I lived in Hollywood, CA for awhile. While there, as one might expect, I came across quite a few who wanted to be actors or actresses. Of all of them I only saw two who ever got roles of any significance. But, interestingly, whenever I heard them speak of what they wanted, they said something like, “I want to be an actor,” or, “I want to be a working actor,” etc.

Arnold was different. From what I read, he never said he wanted to be an actor. He said, “I vant do be a movie starhhh.” A movie star. That’s quite a bit different than someone saying they want to be an actor or actress, or to be “working in show business.”

Later, before he was known, I’d heard Arnold was changing what he was saying he wanted. Now he was saying, “I vant do be dah biggest box office draw in all of Hollywood.” Now, that, to me, is even bigger and CLEARER than, “I vant do be a movie starhhh.”

Get my point?

"What I am most happy about is that I can zero in on a vision of where I want to be in the future. I can see it so clearly in front of me when I daydream that it's almost a reality. Then I get this easy feeling, and I don't have to be uptight to get there because I already feel like I'm there, that it's just a matter of time." Arnold Schwarzenegger

What?? He "daydreamed" it into reality? Hmmm,...

"When I was very young, I visualized myself being and having what it was I wanted. Mentally I never had any doubts about it. The mind is really so incredible. Before I won my first Mr. Universe, I walked around the tournament like I owned it. The title was already mine. I had won it so many times in my mind that there was no doubt I would win it. Then, when I moved on to the movies, the same thing. I visualized myself being a successful actor and earning big money. I could feel and taste success. I just knew it would all happen." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Here's an interesting story a friend passed along to me:

Excerpt from a 1976 interview between a Mr. Chandler and Arnold Schwarzenegger: Chandler asked Arnold what he was going to do after he retired from bodybuilding. "I'm going to be the number-one box-office star in all of Hollywood," he calmly responded. Remember, this was when few people outside bodybuilding knew he existed.

Chandler had to fight to keep a straight face as he was asking how he planned to do that. Arnold's explanation seemed "ridiculously simple," but Chandler never forgot it: "What you do is create a vision of who you want to be, and then live into that picture as if it were already true."

"Live into that picture as if it were already true." Interesting. Sounds very much like Wattles saying, "Enter at once into the full enjoyment of the things you want,..." (SOGR Chapter 8)

"What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them" - Mark 11:24

"All you have to do is get into vibrational harmony with your desire, and your desire must be given to you - and the Universe will find endless ways of bringing it to you." "You can offer your vibration on purpose. That's what visualization is. That's what imagination is: Projecting thought Energy on purpose." - Abraham-Hicks

Phil

ps. He DID, at one time, become the biggest box office draw in all of Hollywood.

I recall the good gentleman from Toronto, Canada stating that same point one time, like this:

A person could be seeking to accumulate a million dollars, but unless they're specific about their desire, they could end up with a million dollars in "Monopoly" money.

A funny, even silly example, perhaps, but it might drive the point home, that you or I should "fill in ALL the gaps" regarding what it is we desire, in order that what shows up is a perfect match.

Cool
