This afternoon, Don went on one of his rampages again, deciding to blame everyone, including me, for his unhappiness.

While he walked out the door, I told him, "Bless you." His response. "Yeah."

Within three hours he called to say he loves me. I love him too. I told him I was thinking of going to a picnic the park put on here today. He said for me to go.

On my walk there, I prayed I would meet a lady friend who has the same interests I do. Right at the end, someone took this woman's chair so she ended up sitting by me. We struck up a conversation. Come to find out, she loves HGTV. She loves seeing the before and after of designing. She also loves watching Bargain Hunt and Cash in the Attic, two of my favorites. Now get this. She lives right down the street from me.

I wore my It's Better to Bless band, and shared it with anyone I came into contact with. They had a free raffle. Out of a lot of people, I won a coupon for a free medium size pizza from Dominoes. I prayed for food. It so happens, I am not a bit fond of Dominoes, but I still was blessed I won. I knew I was going to win something, I just didn't know what.

It started to rain. Someone pointed it out that I had walked there. Two ladies offered me a ride. They went out of their way to bring me home, then they were going back to pick up children.

After I came home, Don called again. I told him how I won the coupon. I said, "That's pretty neat, isn't it?" He responded, "Yeah, it really is."

So even though my day started on a chaos note, it ended up on a picnic with all kinds of goodies, and I don't just mean food.

I got a chance to get out, meet some people, bless them and won something. I'd say it works to just keep blessing everyone and everything.

If you have a day that doesn't seem too great, just keep blessing people, no matter what they do or say. Then watch things turn around. I guarantee you they will.

Blessings,
Clairetta

That is fantastic Clairetta.

It is our attitude that determines everything.

About a month ago I hit rock bottom, external achievements never made me happy. I would achieve one thing and straight away rush on to the next one. I came to the point of what is the point of it all, as none of this physical stuff was making me happy.

I then spent some time with my 2 year old nephew and his purity and joy helped me see. I then started to question if external stuff doesn't make me happy, it must come from within.

Since then I have a new mantra, 'Presence and Happiness' and I can't believe the difference these two words have made to my life. As soon as I wake up I say to myself presence and happiness over and over until I feel it.

Then through the day repeat presence and happiness and It has a profound effect.

My life in 4 weeks, is starting to resemble an environment that makes me present and happy. I am now contracting 3 days a week, which gives me 4 days a week to follow my heart's vision.

Some amazing events are happening and as you so eloquently described it is all due to our attitude.

Thanks for the reminder

My tree nature and with presence and happiness
Brett

Nice picnic you were on and amazing to meet people who appear to be in sync. Were you able to network to find a source of business for yourself?

In answer to tosca's question, no. I didn't get that opportunity. But when the ladies dropped me off, I told them I'm looking for work.

Networking will, eventually, pay off. Of this I'm sure.

Karin, I'm happy this brightened up your day. That is my whole intention is to bless others in any way and however much I can.

Brett, your post is a lot of food for thought. So you finally stopped jumping from project to project? And then you started that mantra? Excellent. I just might try that. I have a situation with my husband, but this is not the post for that. Well it is, but it isn't. I have a different post that I'm relating the daily events. Sheesh, maybe I should just start a blog.

To continue on the vein of what you shared, I just so happen to have a new member, of my free advertising Yahoo group, whom is always posting those on-line "opportunities." I just wrote him asking if he is actually making any income from them. If he is going to just stick with one or many sources? And to let him know, my initial reason for starting my group was to make it available for bona fide on-line businesses and local mom and pop ones. So your response was perfect timing. Thanks. Maybe I should share it with him so he can get more focused.

Blessings,
Clairetta

Hi Clairetta, to clarify the process.

I had a thousand and one things to do in regard to my CMI.

It got to the point of not doing any, as I would start one thing and be distracted by the next and so on.

Then I lost connection with why I was doing this and I hit rock bottom.

A friend, then suggested to write down all my dreams, visions and put them in a bowl; anything that was on my mind. Once my mind was empty I offered it all back to Spirit and said 'take your dreams back they are no longer mine'. I then burnt all the pieces of paper with my dreams on them. It was very liberating.

Since then I have asked Spirit to not overload me with visions and to take on one thing at a time.

Now I have a clean slate to operate from and I am closer to my essence/spirit then I have been in a long time. Above all I believe it has been the mantra of presence and happiness that has connected me with Spirit, as I think that is what the Formless resonates at.

I hope that clarifies the process.

Brett

Brett, thanks for clarifying what you did and are doing now. I'm sure it will help others here, and I might share it with the person who is signing up for all those "opportunities."

I know we are told that it's a good idea to have numerous streams of income, other than a job, but, I think, this person is going to the way of ridiculous.

Blessings,
Clairetta
