I thought this idea was relevant to Wattle's idea "growth and expansion beyond your current environment".
Most people don’t get what they want because they keep doing the same old thing. They keep taking the same actions in hopes of creating a different result. And the reason they do that is because their actions are rooted in fear. They fear taking on new actions. And that is their biggest problem. Think of it this way. Let’s say on a scale of 1-10, you’re currently a 3. That’s where you are in your personal development. Now let’s say that there is this problem that you have. We all have them, it’s a part of life. And let’s say that problem is a 7. When you look up at the problem from where you are, the problem looks huge! A 7 is a lot bigger than a 3. Now let’s say you work on yourself, you develop yourself. Maybe you get a coach and improve your confidence. You’re now at a 9 out of 10. A 9 is greater than 7, so now you look down at the problem and think, “that’s a tiny little problem, I can handle that.” And you do handle it because you’re bigger than the problem. Makes sense, right? If you’re bigger than your problems, then you won’t have an issue to get where you want to be. You can do whatever you want, really. Personal growth is the key to heightening your awareness so that you can get what you want. Here's a Youtube Video that explains this idea, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP5GCh9E_Pg |

That you are ALWAYS bigger than anything you are calling a problem. That it's only our egos that think we're smaller, but our True Selves are infinite. And when we learn not to believe everything the ego tells us, then we don't see ourselves as small. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

thanks Julia, I really appreciate your feedback. I'm new to the video world.
You see, there a great number of people who say they can jump over a river. They walk way back so that they can get a good run at the jump. They walk way back and get a good head start at the jump. They plan, analyze all the scenarios, figure out all the contingency plans, and then they (sometimes) decide to just go for it and jump. But midway through the air all their fears and worries surface. They haven't even finished the jump and their already worried about the landing; their problems. Instead they might want to focus on a great landing. They might want to look at the bright side; to see the greatness of the journey and how fun it is to actually be in the jump. When I place more attention on the experiences, the circumstances and the feelings that come from love, joy and truth I'm bigger than my problems. In a nutshell that's when I'm being bigger than my problems. What do you think? |

Ok, so they seem to be huge, but will probably be quite small when I get up close and personal with them. Thanks Rebecca - your perspective is welcome. |

Not true at all, IMHO. Bigger than your small ego self, not bigger than your True Self. (There's actually a LifeLab on this very subject in the course.) Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

I know my problem/s are still way bigger than me, but it's not going to stop me from going after them with the tenacity of a pitbull on steroids.
The major issue I am working with at the moment is identifying them so they can be deleted. What I have noticed, are that some are quite easy to spot - but others are deeply seated and don't come out so easily. I am also using meditation, and have EFT planned to work through them. The most frustrating thing for me, is that I know they're there. I can look back at my life and put a finger on every opportunity and progress that I have sabotaged on the way. But I just don't know exactly why??? Is this negative programming a product of our upbringing, or is it self made - or both? I have heard that when using EFT it's not necessary to dredge up old issues, nor is it necessary to specifically identify the blockage to remove it. It's just aswell, because there are large chunks of my childhood that are missing. I have a feeling that once the blockages are gone, personal development will be much easier - and once I have control of my thoughts, life will once again swing into focus, and I will have more control. |

Hi Stephen,
LOVED your videos, you really have a talent for explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. I'm not so sure about the number idea-kind of feels like competetive thought-sort of like I have to be bigger and better than the problem. I also prefer to use the word "challenge". I like to embrace the "problem" as a teacher. Allow me to explain: Blind spots or "problems" can be our best teachers, because blind spots reveal old programming. Old programming that no longer works (also known as fear when presented with something that doesn't "fit" the old way) is why so many folks get to a certain point and then quit, change, or self-sabotage. Once you can identify WHAT the old programming is, you can delete it and replace/upgrade it with several methods. I've used EFT, meditation, Ho-Opononpono/BLAST and One Command. Once deleted, you can replace the old program with a new and much more helpful one. Keep up the great work-you have wonderful presence in your videos.
