I get a new cellphone - the Sony Ericsson K850i. My wife had an upgrade and there wasn't any particular new phone she wanted so I could choose! Smile

What a fantastic Mother's Day-just now getting a chance to post.

My daughter bought me a hanging basket of soft pink Petunias, 2 new bandannas and a card that said, "Thank you for always making me feel safe and loved."

My oldest son gave me a beautiful card yesterday that said, "Thank you for never losing sight of who I am. I think that we have a great relationship!"

And my youngest boy, 16, who I didn't expect a card from at all, wrote "I love you Ma."

I am very happy, and I look at the cards whenever I need a lift. Smile

PS Hey Alison, that's great about getting a paying gig. WHOOHOO!!

Hi All

It is autumn here in OZ, still very warm but the start of the rainy season. One of the things I like about this time of year is sitting in the evening under the pagola overlooking the pool. The icing on the cake is if it rains, and that gives a lovely feeling, nice and warm and the sound of the rain hitting the pagola roof.

We had some people over for a meal last night, and I said to Val wouldn't it be great if it rained.

Well we had a beautiful meal of garlic prawns and fillet steak, all cooked to perfection on the BBQ with a lovely bottle of Penfold wine and just as we finished our meal, YOU GUESSED IT, it started to rain.

Now THAT made me HAPPY.

I have a booking for a 'paying' music gig.

It's one month from now.

I will open the vocal jam where I sing every week. There is always one vocalist who opens and closes the jam, and that person sings 5 songs and is paid.

June 11,11:30PM
Tarantos,
Plaça Reial, 17
Barcelona

This is a Flamenco club, and every Wednesday evening AFTER the flamenco concerts there is a vocal jam. It's a special jam because it focuses on the vocalist rather than the musicians.

I will sing my own songs that I have been working on with a composer, as well as a couple of covers.

Everyone is invited! It's a modest €4.00 to enter - though it is late so you have to stay up late! Cool

If you come, PLEASE speak to me afterwards and introduce yourself.

A couple of weeks ago there was a woman from Greece who invited me to go and sing in Greece (I forgot to post about that! More happy news!) - I'm sure she was from the forum!

I need to record a demo so I am now recording all my performances and recorded my first one last week and was less than thrilled! so what's happy about that?

It makes me recognize the need to practice more, and be more selective in the pieces I choose to perform - where, when and how - and that helps me refine my personal style.

It's great to have a booking and be motivated to practice more ALL AT THE SAME TIME! That's double practice motivation!

My brother (who earns a 6 figure salary, and is living over his means right now) made a remark, based on his ScareCity thinking(Love that one ME), "So how are you enjoying the high life? Must be great living in a 600,000 house with no mortgage to worry about, and then selling it so you can have a house for free..."
He meant it as sarcasm, but I chose not to be offended, but rather, to have compassion that he can't see how awesome and amazing he truly is, and that he has it all RIGHT NOW.

(My answer in the past would have been a few swears and feeling like I wanted to SMACK him but GOOD-LOL!)

I answered him:Yes, I am thoroughly enjoying this beautiful place, and I am blessed not to have a mortgage. Right now, I'm working on getting the back taxes and association fee caught up. Who knows-if my business keeps going the way it is, I may be able to keep this place, and make the improvements it needs to render it more energy efficient, such as a new wood stove and French doors. I'm open to all possibilities for where $$ comes from, so it may not necessarily be from selling the house. Recently, I landed a $2000.00 commission for a sculpture that I'm working on, and I've been doing phone consultation/spiritual counseling for $60.00 an hour.

I have not heard back from him. Wink

It makes me very happy to see how rich I am, and he's right-I AM enjoying the "high life" as he puts it-but because of how I FEEL INSIDE, not because of what's going on outside me, like he thinks.

I will keep doing Ho 'oponopono on him/myself.
It makes me very happy that I can see my wonderful brother in a loving light for the amazing Being that he is. Smile

I have a new client in Europe, and we had a wonderful exchange today.

My friend that I did the healing on yesterday called me to tell me that for several hours, she was completely pain free-for the first time in months!

Today, I had a dentist appointment. The appointment was out of state-a 2 hour ride. The dentist was a former student of my father's and good friend of the family, and a kind and generous soul. He has known me since I was 9, and does all my dental work for free. Smile I enjoy giving him beautiful pieces that I make as thankyou gifts, and he really appreciates them as he is an avid art collector.
The weather was beautiful, and it was a great day for a drive.

First I stopped to visit a good friend. She has been in a lot of pain so she asked me to do a healing. I did, and she felt much better. She gifted me with a new book, a CD, and a big bag of cat food, which was great since I have 6 of the little furfolks.

Smiling all the way,I stopped at my mother's for lunch. Now, my mother has this tendency to criticize SOMETHING that I am wearing, it's like she can't help it, she just has to do it. She thinks that she's being helpful. Big Grin It's either my hair, my clothes, or my bandanna.

So as I'm driving, I said the Ho'oponopono prayer as I pictured her "I'm sorry, I forgive you, thank you, I love you." BLAST works too. As I was saying this prayer, I kept feeling happier and happier. By the time I got to my mother's, I was feeling so good that nothing mattered. Sure enough, THE COMMENT Wink..I guess today it was that my dress was too loose or something. The cool thing was that the comment rolled right off me, and I said, "Oh, but I like comfortable loose clothing" and she said nothing more. So we chatted, had a pleasant lunch, and then started to discuss her health.
Now, my mother is 78 years old as of May 3rd, and in excellent health. She does no meds, eats really healthy, but perhaps for fear of getting sick, takes too many vitamins. I had suggested a couple of times for her to downsize the quantity, but she just wasn't ready to do so. So I let it go. This was over a year ago.

Today, she actually decided to listen to her body and use her OWN INTUITION to start cutting back, and asked me to help her sort them out. I was BLOWN AWAY! Eek And what was even cooler was that she realized that she was being run by her FEAR which is why she was taking so many vitamins-as many as 20-25 different pills a day! I was so happy that she realized this and chose to take the healthy step of changing her vitamin habit to a better one. Smile

Got to the dentist, and I had the WRONG DAY marked on my calendar, it was for next week. I wasn't even upset-rather, I was so thankful that I had such a beautiful day in which to drive,2 beautiful and meaningful visits, gas in the tank, money in my pocket to buy groceries on the way home, and a vehicle that runs well and looks pretty good for an old car. The office staff was all concerned at first, but when they saw that I wasn't, they all relaxed too. Smile Smile

I want to share what made me happy today. Two of my customers went to a community sale and each brought me a big bag of clothes..What is amazing is that almost everything is what I would pick for myself..except they brought a little more color into it..I laughed and laughed that these two women would do this for me..The one bought me pairs and pairs of socks awhile back when she overheard me say I had put every single cent into my business and hadn't bought so much as socks for myself for three years. So I now have an array of new shirts and such..I hung them up in my closet this evening and was so grateful, not just for the clothes but these beautiful women who thought to do this kindness for me.

Hi everyone,

I'm very happy today because I "get it"! Big Grin

I know I already own my Cadillac XLR, I already am the inventor of the Towel Twizzler and I will going to try-outs for a female football team and that I will be making application to The Amazing Race!

What a great life!

Yesterday I went to our local library to hang my first one woman show in 30 years, which consisted of paintngs as well as pottery.

The prices that I now allow for my artwork are a good measure of how I feel about myself and what I now allow from the Universe. Two years ago, I was ready to burn every one of them in our bonfire along with all the dead branches ,and thank goodness my dear husband stopped me. Today, I have them priced in the thousands. And as I saw how beautifully displayed my work was thanks to a fellow artist who does all the hanging, I was thrilled.

But it gets better. I've been looking at body image issues lately and looking to clear them, as I found that despite making healthy food choices, my body self-talk and image were less than favorable, resulting in some weight gain. and I didn't want to use the old "going upstream" techniques of total willpower fighting against the cravings, because eventually, I would lose the unwanted pounds, but then I'd get tired of swimming upstream and I'd gain the weight back. Today I know better, so I was looking for a better way. In fact, I found some great EFT videos on this:
Carol Tuttle:Clearing Food Cravings

So I've been telling myself "you are fit and trim and healthy, your clothes look great" rather than the old "you're a bit overweight, you're gaining weight, your clothes won't fit soon", etc.

And you know what? Two people at the library asked me if I had lost weight and was working out! Eek This really surprised me because I just started doing this yesterday.
That made me really happy! Smile

BTW, does this mean that I'm giving the "impression of DECREASE?" LOL! Big Grin Wink

About 2 weeks ago, I had an inspiration and sent a thank you gift to a customer. (See below, it's about 4inches (12 cm)in diameter)

Today, the customer called me and told me that Medusa happened to be one of her FAVORITE subjects, and she ordered another item as well.

Sending a gift on an inspiration and having someone like it that much made me very happy. Smile And the unexpected order did too. Wink

I feel happy to see people 'get it'

I've been very happy lately because I've witnessed this happen every day for the last week or so.

Finally, people are 'getting it'

I am also happy when I can share experiences and help others 'get it'

I am also happy when I don't 'get it' but listen and take action as directed, and see the value in my actions later.

Seeing crocuses and tulips and all the other perennials sprouting in my garden after the very long winter that we've had here in New Hampshire USA
and
being able to sit outside in the sun in a t-shirt and smell the fresh earth thawing while a warm breeze blows across my face. YEAH, now that makes me happy! Big Grin

This may sound weird coming from a man but one of the things that makes me happy is my 3 year old son. We are very close and he always wants to go with me where every I go and he gives the best hugs too.

When I need to visualize something that makes me happy that is what I think about.
