Greetings Fellow travelers,
My beautiful sunny Leo daughter has been listening to a recording of SOGR for about 4 months now, and has watched me build my business since starting SOGR in October 2006. She has learned visualization and letting go. She completed her first year of college with all A's, and didn't make the first cut to enter into the Physical Therapy Assistant program at that college. After dealing with initial disappointment, she let it go, and contented herself with being willing to go to a different school to study a related field. And soon after that, she was accepted in her school of choice because someone else dropped out of the program that she wanted to get into! Big Grin

Not wanting to drive for 2 hours each way to go to school, she needed an apartment that was in a good part of town, affordable, and where she could have her dog with her. Undaunted, she kept picturing the place and mentally living in it, just like she learned from watching me do the same. Last week, a client of hers for whom she cleans house needed someone to sublet his apartment to for the time my daughter needed a place to attend school. And the place is not only right in town in a nice area close to her school, but she can have her dog, and it's half price since it's a sub-let! And there's even a swimming pool.

Watching my daughter use the priciples in SOGR to fulfill her dreams-WHOOHOO, that really makes me happy! Big Grin

Welcome to our community Katherine.
Sounds like a perfect day!

Look forward to hearing more of yours and everyone elses happy moments, because that makes me happy.

How about all previous posters give us a happy update, so that we can all have a boost of happy news, there is nothing better to set you up for the day.

Here is my news. I have experienced a problem with a bookkeeper / production manager. We decided to part company and As she left, I said to my self I wish Toni was available[ A woman who had worked for me in the past ] I had lost touch with her but knew she could handle the position with ease.

I put and advert on seek [an employment website ] and waited. Within a few hours an application came in and I was gobsmacked to see who it was, Yes you guessed it Toni!!!!!

Now that made me very very HAPPY!!!!!

Look forward to some great posts.

I am happy with my day so far -- a quiet run along the Rio Grande, sweet conversations with friends, talking about art and learning about a fabulous new artist, a dry organic cappuccino, cool breezes and gorgeous cloud formations in the big Colorado sky.

Thank you for the lovely thread.

Tom, happy traveling through western CO! Give a little wave to the east -- I live smack in the middle of the southern CO border.

Blessings!

I am happy to be on day one of a 20 day road trip to visit family! We are in Saint George, Utah where it was 113 degrees of dry heat when we pulled in!

I am happy that the Hotel has a pool, spa and gym for our use! I am happy that they also have internet access!!!

Julia, that sounds like great fun!

We have recently joined a gym. One of the activities on offer is called Hydroryder. It involves riding a bike like structure in a warm water pool and doing various arm and leg exercises to great music. The trainer was fabulous and I had a ball doing it. It was so much fun! Hard work, but great the way the trainer did it.

Getting fit and having fun with it at the same time ROCKS too Big Grin

Saturday, my husband and I were asked by a friend for a favor and we got paid too. WE were to drive one of his cabs for the evening and pick up a bachelor party of 10 and take them to a strip club in Portland Maine, and then bring them home. Our guys, in their late 20's were quite entertaining to listen to. They had already been drinking when we picked them up, and it brought me back to my college days listening to them describe their various sexual conquests-it was really quite funny. While we waited for them after we dropped them off at the club, we got to hang out with our friend Ted (who drove the other cab) went out to eat at a really cool hippie restaurant called Silly's and ate fish and chips, walked the promenade while savoring the scent of the ocean and deep fried fish, and overall had a great time together. And our very happy and polite guests even gave us a tip after we dropped them off-in $1.00 bills. Big Grin

Getting paid and having fun at the same time ROCKS! Big Grin

Hi all,

I recently got a couple of kittens, after having been petless for 10 years.

I love watching domestic and wild animals do the cute things they do. When watching, sometimes I get just a warm, fuzzy feeling, or a feeling of intense wonderment; or a feeling of being fully satisfied and a peace; and sometimes I laugh out loud. Last noght, tears were rolling down my eye as I watched my two kittens play. I jsut love it.

Animals and little children, to me, are happiness and joy manifested.

Today I am happy that I got something off of my chest that has been on my mind for a long time. I am happy that I was able to say what I had to, with positive intentions.

I am grateful for the beautiful weather, and that I was able to enjoy part of the day out of doors in the glorious sunshine.

I am happy to be creating many wonderful sales and to be meeting many great people who I can show a better way of living, thinking and being.

I am happy to have people in my life who understand me, and know me for who I am.

I am happy to care about people in my life in a very real way, and I am happy to be of service in every aspect of my life.

I am happy to be a part of this special group of people online and happy to have this forum in which to learn, share and grow.

Wink
