I am celebrating the blessing of free time.

Today a temporary job that I had reluctantly agreed to do for this week has been cancelled by the client so I have some free time. I have invited a group of friends around on Thursday afternoon for a tea party. I know the money that I would have earned from that work will come from somewhere else.

Blessings to all

Today I realized that my joy and happiness has everything to do with how I think and nothing to do with money in my pocket.

So, I spent the day feeling riches in my vision. It's an empowering moment!

Everything is easy Smile

Blessings

Today I stopped by my neighbor's house. She and her husband were having a yardsale. I have been sending them love and light for a while, because they were both so stressed out and unhappy with their jobs. They are now both doing what they love, making money, and they looked absolutely radiant. We reminisced about the days when we had to deal with bad weather and getting up early in the morning to drive such a long way to a job we really didn't care for, and how nice it is now not to have to do that anymore, and how blessed we are now to be able to do what we love to do.

Our exchange student arrived from Italy Tuesday. He's a hoot! he's wonderfully unique and creative.

Later, we're all driving to Maine , about 2 hours ride north, to see some good friends and hang out-and the $30.00 check that just came will pay for gas. Smile And they have a boy his age that he can play with.

And finally, I just shipped a $1000.00 kylix that I have just finished to its new home in Arizona.

I FEEL GOOD!!

I had gotten the annual notice that my medical insurance premium was going up again a couple of days ago. Having been in and out of the hospital this year, no company is going to take me on right now (I'm still recovering) so I was stuck unless I wanted to go without insurance (not really an option). Yesterday I got a call from the insurance company to review my policy and it turns out I can make some changes that will not have a major impact on me yet will greatly bring down my monthly premium.

I also got an email yesterday for a small free birthday gift from a store I've been meaning to get to for a particular item. Now I have double the reason to go.

I was able to track down the woman I used to go to for massages (she moved further into town and then I got sick). I've been to a couple that were closer to me and were good but they just weren't "C". I've booked an hour and a half appointment with her on my birthday. It will be almost a year since I've seen her and am happy I found her again.

Earlier this year I was awarded an expense account. I've been spending/investing in my business. It's been so much fun. Today I discovered I can use my expense account to by a Blackberry mobile phone with all the bells and whistles. I am so pumped. (Yeah, I' a geek, so what!)

Belated Happy Birthday Croz-you and my 6 year old grandson were born on the same day. He's a wonderful sunny Leo, just like you and my daughter, whose birthday is August 10th. Smile

We're soon to be hosting a foreign exchange student. Originally, the agency wanted to match our family with a young man from Mexico who is a champion swimmer. Although the agency insisted that I host him, I adamantly said no,(thank goodness I listened to my intuition) because we live too far away from the school, and often, bad weather and my own time constraints would prevent him from making it to practices 4 and 5 days a week. It would not have been fun for either of us, and FUN is the order of the day for me! Big Grin

Quite unexpectedly Winkthe agency found the perfect match: a student from Italy named Salvatore who loves art and photography as well as music! And to boot, he's Afro-Italian, just like my youngest boy. You couldn't ask for a better match, and I KNOW we'll all have a LOT of fun together.

Cheers,
Julia

Hi

I celebrated my 60th birthday this weekend with some close friends.

It reminded me of a quote by Henry Ford a few months before he died.

In answer to the question " Mr Ford you have had most of the things people prize and strive for most- money, fame, power, genius, service, an honoured name and many others. Is there anything that you particularly wanted and didn't have. He answered "If I had to do it all again, I'd go looking for friends, I'd gladly give up all I have of money and fame for a few intimate cronies. Friendship is the best thing a man can have in his life."

Being with friends, Now that makes me happy.

My sandals are completely worn, so I just did some online sandal shopping, and found a great sale at my favorite online store. With money that came yesterday for a piece that I'm creating for $1000.00 Big Grin,I bought three pairs;cream, powder blue, and pale pink suede-all 3 for $64.00 including shipping!

And I'm so happy that I have the means to hire my wonderful neighbor again to paint the south side of the house, which looks so beautiful now. Big Grin

Doing what I love to create beauty which allows me to be able to buy and enjoy beautiful things...HAPPINESS! Big Grin

I was feeling overwhelmed with cooking beautiful, healthy, easy meals for my family -- and I found a fabulous website that does all the planning for me every week! I print out a grocery list and 5 recipes (this is seriously good food), and I'm inspired in the kitchen once again! Happiness!

I am happy I, finally, got my medical back for an affordable premium, and we got insurance that, not only is cheaper, but better than the ones before.

Our home is actually covered if we need to have it replaced, and we have roadside service. Our agent is a wonderful person who gave it to us even though our other insurances lasped, and he gave it to us the day before we had the payment.

Blessings,
Clairetta

Greetings Wonderful People,
I just found out from our friend whose cab we drove last Saturday that we're getting more $$ in tips. When the customer taked to our friend who owns the cab company, it seems that they accidentally underpaid us. So we're getting another $40.00 or so. Big Grin And my husband and I were already happy with what we got last week. What a plus! Big Grin
