I have been having one on one SOGR based coaching with a person over the past couple of months.
This person charged quite a high fee for 1 month of unlimited emails. We stopped at one stage, due to a personal crisis. When we resumed, they offered to start fresh. The conditions were that if I felt that at the end of the month I did not feel that I had acheived improvement, I could ask for the return of the fee in full. I did this yesterday and was refused. Their argument is that we continued past the month and have only just asked for a refund. They feel hard done by for all their effort and I feel hard done by because I have not made any progress. I hope that this doesn't come across as being negative. I am just seeking some detached perspectives from people who are aware of SOGR and do their best to live these principles, so I can either let this go & move on or persue it further. Thanks, Robb |

Hello Rob,
There was a similar question posted here recently. To sue or to let go, if that is also your question. What emotions will you keep in your body while you pursue this? How do they make you feel? And how strong is your case? Can you document their offer to start fresh? You will have to make your own choices. I wish you all the best. Caroline http://esuccessmentor.com/vault.html |

Hi Robb,
I would suggest you ask yourself 'is there nothing at all that I gained from this experience'? only that I know exactly what you mean when you say have 'not made any progress' because it's not visible or you don't feel greatly different etc but yet you may have gained good counsel that is yet to become apparent or for you to truly take on board. Personally most all of the various programs books etc I've studied including Rebeccas PG course the gains have been kinda tiny to my way of thinking - which means that my own personal issues are the reason I don't feel the progress is as good as I'd like. I've come a long way in 12 month but would prefer it to have been 1 - but that was not my path. I have been trying to force things and the universe has screamed back that I was not of right mind and thinking in the certain way. The training of my mind to overcome imbedded negative thinking has taken much longer than I imagined. Do you feel the responses were valuable and that you gained anything from it? or. do you sense 'in your bones' that it was less than what it was made out to be? Good Luck and try to detach and ask yourself what is the best action for ME to take with this right now? Cheers gertie The Truth IS. Hi Robb,
I'm new to this forum and have just been spending time reading the posts. I've been thinking seriously of getting a 1 to 1 coach, too but I'm hesitating. I have some specific questions I'd like to ask you that I'd rather not post here. Could you give an email address I could send you a personal email at? Or, if you rather of course, I could send you mine first. Cheers |

Hey Robb,
Just wanted to ad that we each do have very different levels of what we percieve as good value and interestingly teh more we gain respect for ourselves the more money we are prepared to spend on ourselves and the more we are prepared to say "well I gained that one gem from that so it was worth it!" I myself are currently paying $300 per hour for face to face counsel, and no my financial situation is yet to be flush but as in the certain way I manage to fund it and money still comes my way to replace it. In our journey my partner and I have spent thousand on courses only to find the strategies are dubious but it led us to other connections that are better and so become worth it. Cheers gertie The Truth IS. I have no idea who this coach is, Robb (and don't want to know), but I do have a question for you:
If you continue to hold a thought of being "hard done by," what do you expect to attract to yourself? Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Hi Gang!!!
Well Robb, gotta ask you a few things as this fits in with some aha's and insights I have been having in the last few months. First off what I have learned is that really no one can "give it to me." I have had a few events and a lot of reflecting of the past show me this. When it comes to school, the teacher cannot give me the skills to calculate or to get skillful at something. They can point out facts and make things clearer but the majority of it all rests on me to go after it and to, " make it mine!" No one can give you experience and wisdom and that talent for doing something. They can tell you about some things, they can show you some things but when it all comes down to it you got to take your mind and body and do it. It is like batting in Baseball or Cricket of you Brit folks. This one on one coach stuff or personal trainer stuff I have been seeing a lot of reminds me of tour guides. They will lead you about and do the planning and the reservations and the time setting and all. So you get someone leading you about. You see a few things. But what do you really get out of that? A golden egg perhaps but certainly not the golden goose. You dont know how to go out on your own and see a place. You dont know how to create that experience for yourself. You dont have the feeling of independence and the joy of self discovery. You want to be the golden goose to produce what you want; as much as you want; whenever you want; wherever you want. I have travelled independently and on tours and can tell you being able to go out on my own feels great. It is the same with the Law of Attraction and getting rich. To be in the drivers seat and free.. truly free!! So, how much money are we talking about?? It may sting but look at it this way; you can make all that and 100Xs over by learning for yourself the SOGR and making it a part of your soul. Didnt Wattles say that if we take care of ourselves then we are doing more to wipe out poverty on this planet than a whole bunch of well meaning do-gooders who actually end up keeping people in poverty. You might want to start thinking in terms of gratitude that you are away from this "life coach." Doesnt sound like they really know what SOGR is if they are "afraid" of giving back the money, or feel all wind up tight and "done hard." Be glad you are away from a wanna be guru. Robb, claim your freedom!! I think you have not yet done the Practical Genius course have you? No need to blush. It is better than a coach. You have a wonderful program you can walk through at your own pace. You have a forum for discussion and kicking a thought around rather than seeking someone to tell you what to think or feel. What a deal!! Let go of the sting and say "thank formless" that I am free of someone who might not really have it and who is trying to lead me about. Lots of people have got it and are doing great having done the course. So forgive your self; even forgive that coach. You have now got a little push from the Universe to nudge to you where you can satisfy that desire that is in you. You are on the threshold here; just take the next step. Once again, thank you to everyone for your unique and differing perspectives. I have taken them all on board on have now moved on. Rebecca, I would like to especially thank you for your 'direct question' to me about feeling 'hard done by,' and if I held on to that, I would continue to attract more of the same... very enlightening
