A few days a go we were hit with a really bad typhoon. The power went out and we were in darkness almost two whole days. On the plus side, time away from computers and technology means plenty of opportunity to think about what's important and reflect on life in general. Even when the power returned, the internet was down for two or three more days, so I was cut off from the world. IN all that time of being disconnected from the internet and my business, what happened? Nothing.

The clouds did not part. The earth did not shake and my business was not gobbled up into a bottomless abyss. Everything went on perfectly fine without me.

I remember an incident more than a year ago, after a bad storm, where we were without power for three weeks! I still got sales. People still found my site and bought stuff. I mostly sat around in bed, burning up from the lack of aircon and thinking.

This all makes me really think about how I spend my time. Previously, I spent a lot of time on the internet, posting in forums, writing blogs, chasing down customers, trying to get people to look at my site and my wares, and enjoying none of it. Sometimes, probably more often than not, this led to no results. I have also spent real money on Google ad campaigns, tweaked and tweaked every word and letter of the ads, followed all the "rules" and still got no results. Yet, the most successful time of my business, was when I was moving, and shortly thereafter. In those days, I spent my time shopping! Shopping for apartments, and then shopping for furniture, shopping just for fun, visiting the great malls, watching movies in Digital 3D, and generally having lots of fun. My business skyrocketed and the money just kept flowing.

After the move, things settled down and guess what? I got back on the internet and started posting in forums, writing blogs, and chasing down customers trying to get them to look at my site and my wares, and generally enjoying one of it. Eventually it all dropped off again.

Now, after a few days without power and internet, I realize how much happier I am away from that stuff. What I really mean is, I realized that's not how I want to spend my time. You know what else? With nothing to do, having no power, I got out a pen and pad and started drawing just for fun. I was drawing in a ruled notebook. There was certainly no chance I was considering anything I did as having potential to be a "product". It was just for me, and it was awesome. I also found out I still draw much better on paper than with a computer, but that's another story.

So now the internet is back and I see that I have choices. I can get back to posting in forums, writing blogs and chasing down customers, or I can do things I enjoy, and that make me feel good, draw, create, have fun and see what happens as I just enjoy the journey!

That has been my experience again and again and again, Teruchan. Whenever I find I am just enjoying myself, feeling good, having fun -- and definitely NOT stressing over what I "should be doing" or anything at all about my businesses, more money comes in.

It's now totally predictable. The more I let go and just get HAPPY, the more comes to me -- and not just money. I get invited out to dinner, people give me gifts, I win things (even when I didn't even know I was entered in any kind of giveaway -- that's a total hoot when that happens).

SOGR: "The picture of your desires, held with faith and purpose, is taken up by the formless, and permeates it to great distances -- throughout the universe, for all we know.

"As this impression spreads, all things are set moving toward its realization. Every living thing, every inanimate thing, and the things yet uncreated are stirred toward bringing into being that which you want. All force begins to be exerted in that direction. All things begin to move toward you. The minds of people everywhere are influenced toward doing the things necessary to the fulfilling of your desires, and they work for you, unconsciously."

I love it when those other people are working for me and bringing me so much good and all I did was hold an image that pleased me. Big Grin

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

You know, just the other day I was reflecting over my childhood and I remembered how I always received what I wanted. I recall that I didn't get it straight away but it seemed that when I forgot about it and just went about having fun, the very things I wanted would come!

It seems that this is a huge element in the whole manifesting process, i.e. getting out of the way and leaving it to source to work it out. Life does a great job on its own, without us always looking to see what's happening.

It reminds me of the analogy, that if we plant a seed, the plant grows on its own but if we dig up the soil to see what's happening constantly, we disrupt it and potentially stop the growth!

The tricky part though, is that if you "need" that plant to produce fruit in order to survive, it's difficult to leave it alone and focus on fun, the emotion will be too raw.

In these cases, it seems that something needs to be done to take care of the underlying emotions, possibly EFT or some other energy clearing modality.

It certainly seems to be a real key in learning to release the grip on life and allowing the flow to happen.

Anything you chase will run away. It is far better to attract everything.

Somehow when you are relaxed and at peace, you do not pose a threat and in that state you allow things to come to you.

Teruchan. You know what you must do, but you are afraid of the change, because you are thinking that doing what makes you happy, cannot possibly support you.

Just do it, there will be a period of what I call 'transitional disruption' but you will achieve so much more if you follow your heart.

Abundance to All
