I am grateful that being one day ahead in time is not a problem (yesterday I thought it was Thursday but it was Wednesday). In fact it means, I just got myself a BONUS DAY! Hip hip hooray!!
I am grateful that this bonus day is going to be a wonderful and extraordinary day, and it already has been one in the few hours past. It will only be getting better and better.
I am grateful for the wonderful home that I live in and the beautiful garden that surrounds it. I am grateful that the sun is so happy and generous to be sending her growth food rays down to my plants who are smart enough to soak it all up and make it work for them.

Dear SOGR family:

I am grateful for the Word of God and how it transforms lives.

I was a bit distracted this morning and almost skipped my morning meditation with God. I don't know how many of you ascribe to reading and meditating on Scripture. This mornings message really spoke to me. The first verse is listed below and I recommend you look up and read all of chapter 28.

Now I am by no means a bible scholar. This passage really speaks to how we should obey the Word. To me is like obeying the law of gravity, we do so without thinking about it. We must do the same with SOGR. Get it deep into our being so we go along effortlessly and barely without thinking of it!!

Deuteronomy 28

1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:

I am grateful for LL17 on gratitude. My gratitude diary had become a bit stale, or automatic with no real feeling behind it. Changing it to 'this day was wonderful because...' and ending with 'I am grateful. Thank you' re-energised it and it felt GREAT!

I am grateful that as the day unfolds, I find even more things to be grateful for.
I am grateful that I have been practising gratitude for so long that it is a fully automated habit. No matter what happens in my external world, I automatically start to seek out what I can be grateful for. And it makes life so much more joyful.
I am grateful for the beautiful yellow faces that keep on smiling at me, whenever I glance out of the window.
I am grateful that the addiction to glance out of the window often is good for my spirit.
