Dawn, congratulations on your smart gratitude journal. I was wondering about this first one thought.

"about to find me" sounds a bit like there is a gap.

Hello Dawn,

I appreciate what you are saying. And congrats on attracting all that useful knowledge in the computer class Wink

Was just thinking about the advice to be grateful and enter at once into... as if we already own it. Where is my book when I want to look up the literal quote? In my SOGR folder of course LOL
Here it is.
quote:
In the mental realm, enter at once into full enjoyment of the things you want.

So your website is finished and attracting all these people. Time is of no relevance to the Science. So glad we cleared that up because I would not want to misunderstand you. Best wishes to my successful friend Big Grin

God bless you,

Caroline

I am grateful for my nights of peaceful sleep, and days of peaceful vibes.

I am grateful that my daughter and son will be spending their 2 weeks of school holidays with me (they normally live with their mother).

I am grateful for the wonderful stories and inspirational people from TSOGR community.

I am grateful for what I have in my life, and for all that is to come.

I am grateful I could spend the day focusing, contemplating and thinking on my CMI.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to read about so much gratitude. It's uplifting.

I am grateful that I am being led in a new and exciting path to somewhere I trust is good, to places where creativity abounds and can be explored with wonder, where new thoughts are welcome, where new thinking can deliver new things.

I have no idea where I am going, but I believe and trust God is leading me to a new place. I am experiencing frustrations with the limitations I have formerly placed on myself, with the routine of my work, with the boundaries I have envisaged surround me. I am beginning to see they were misconceptions and all things are newer than I imagined.

I am grateful to be going somewhere new. I see a new life coming toward me as I shed the garments I've worn for years. I am trying not to be negative about the past; that's useless. It brought me here, on this new path; would I have found it otherwise? How can I have disdain for it? But it seems to be time to surrender the frustrations, embrace the past with thanksgiving, knowing the chapter is soon closing and new and fresh approaches are on their way to me.

I am grateful to God, as I see it is God who is in all and directs all. Some of the direction was directed eons ago and some of the direction is NOW. And both are one and the same because the formless that He is or that He created is created and is being created out of His abundance, was created in time and place by one who knows no boundaries around such things. His yesterday is the same as His now is the same as His tomorrow. He is in all places and times simultaneously.

And I see a pointing in a new direction that it is time for me to follow.

I've been here before, in times of great tribulation, where I've know He was leading me out of turmoil and into new places, better places where I could become the new person He was calling me to be. I have known that I was loved. And that was a great discovery. It sounds simple, and it is. But to know deep in the pit of your self that you are loved by the one who created all, including me was a great discovery. This was not a mental discovery but a spiritual knowing beyond words.

I trust He is leading me now to a new discovery and although I don't know where I am going, the pathway is lined with beauty and hope. It is new, it is special, it is like a new land flowing with milk and honey. And it is exciting.
For this, I am grateful.

For the desire to shed the old garments and put on the new, I am grateful.

For hope and desire, for trust and peace in the unknown, I am grateful.

For the many blessings I have been given, especially my children, I am grateful.

For the healing I've received that continues to deepen following the apparent tradgedy of a failed marriage, I am grateful.

I was hard on myself, in past days, for the feelings of discomfort with my present life. But that was then; this is now. I think I am beginning to see a much better way and my discomfort comes from the process of surrendering to the new and letting go of the old. The old garments are beginning to feel constricting, and this is a good thing; I am growing out of them. It is not really frustration, it is fear of leaving the certainty of the old way, with its limitations and constraints (or apparent limitations and constraints) and embracing what I do not yet know and understand can be as safe. It's loving the 'devil you know' and fearing the one you do not yet understand.

But I surrender to you Lord God to lead me where I am supposed to be. I accept the path you have for me, whatever that is, and I long to be in your will, being your companion in the way you want me to go. For this and for you, I am grateful.

I surrender and I wait, with great anticipation. Do your stuff! And let me be a part of it!

@ dwinnemmen,
You have a gift of divination? Cool!

I am grateful that today is Sunday and a holiday, so I can do whatever I want!

I am grateful that the weather today is damp and cool --perfect for setting off fireworks safely.

I am grateful that one of my students sells fireworks and has offered to give us a great deal on what we buy.

I am grateful that today I will get my kitchen cleaned up and do a lot of laundrey.

I am grateful that I am getting positive response on my Dracula script from the few people who have read it.

I am grateful that my husband's production of Romeo and Juliet looks like it's coming back from the brink of death, thanks to some actors who didn't get the word until auditions were over. He'll do an extra day of auditioning, then make the call to go forward with the show, or do something else instead.

I am grateful that I had the opportunity to teach musical theatre and a little hip hop for the theatre's summer camp.

I am grateful that the camp is now over. Smile

I am grateful that I noticed that while I was teaching, I was very focused on the task at hand. When it was over, I noticed that I didn't build as many relationships as I could have. Next time I will have that knowledge and remember that the people are just as important as the tasks!

I am grateful that I got 3 compliments yesterday on how well we conducted the pool party we hosted. I love that my husband sets up the equipment and handles all the music. All I have to do is talk on the microphone and line dance with the kids! I get the fun and easy part! Plus, my kids get to come with us and play in the pool all day. Also, since we've been doing this for 5 summers, now, there's never a question about getting the job. 3 gigs a year and no advertising or sales at all!

@ dwinnemmen,
Hey, guess what? I just got paid $400 to "sit by the pool" all day. My whole family was with me. And all I had to do was carry some sound equipment about 30 feet, announce some games, eat some free food, and listen to my husband play some great music! Most of the time I was just chillin'. See? Sitting by the pool can be profitable, too! (Also, I used to let my husband do all the work while I just sunbathed. But I like being useful, so I started MCing just for fun.)

Love and blessings,
Rachel

I am grateful for a quiet relaxing Independance Day at home doing things that I feel like doing!

I am grateful that last 4th of July we spent at our son's lakeside home watching fireworks fired from an island on the lake!

I am grateful that we will be spending a little over a week with our son and family the latter part of July and first part of August!

I am grateful for yesterday with our Daughter and family! I helped our Son-In-Law plaster a play house, we later enjoyed a great meal and discussed a trip that we will take together to Colorado in August!

I am grateful that God loves me.

I am grateful that I got some Help today. I wanted to attend a course but it was all filled up. And when I got back from shopping, there was a vacant seat again, just waiting for me.

I am grateful that I could easily apply for the course and make travel arrangements. Everyone being helpful with suggestions and professional and keeping their promises. It was just like magic Wink

I am grateful that God showed me a real interesting opportunity at the very same company that is giving the training.

I am grateful that I am open and willing to receive any opportunity even if it was never on my original game plan or CMI Big Grin

I am grateful for the recent discussions on this forum. About negative thoughts and how they could be signals to ourselves. A few things have been going on around me that I had some negative emotions about. Today, I have been extra careful to guard my thoughts and it was a pleasant day with lots of happy thoughts. I am excited and happy and grateful about all of that Big Grin

God bless you,
