I am grateful that my home is in an area where there were no fires!!

I am grateful that my home is made of stuco and has a tile roof - fire resistant!

I am grateful that with the fires that we are having in Southern California that a small amount of homes have burnt and very casualties have occured!

I am grateful that the people who have lost their homes will be taken care of by insurance and the emergency fund!!

As I was writting this post I received a call from a friend. I had called them earlier today as they live in an area that might be affected by fire. I had invited them to stay in our home if they were evacuated from theirs.

We just had beer and wine with our friends, now heading for bed as I finish this post.
I am grateful that I have room in my house for friends!!

I am grateful for the results of the Cancer testing are all back and they are all negative. Negative can be a glorious word at times.

I am greatful my grandaughter is back in school and all is well with her.

I am greatful this is my last day of smoking and for all the support I have received and all that I will receive.

I am greatful that Tom's home is safe and that he is able to extend it to help his friends.

I am greatful for this beautiful day and all the blessings it has for each and everyone of us.

I am greatful for this site and all the friends I have met here.

`The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor
the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when
he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with
his friendship.

The sun that shines,
My health,
For always being better tahn I think I am,
For Tom's safe home that he has extended to others,
For Terri's cancer free tests results,
For my coming trip this weekend to see my big beautiful family to celebrate my Uncle's 80th BD,
For my stopover at the kids to celebrate their birthdays and hug my granddaughter,
For my friend & my new getting together to read,
For this beautiful life that I can breathe in and out,
For my new fav green drink,
For the new good books that I am reading.

Today, I am so grateful that
I was able to drive down to my Uncle Dick's 80th BD celebration.
To enjoy the family that is left.
To spend the night on the way at the kids house.
To play with my granddaughter.
To travel back in a storm and be able to see and hear every all of magic of the Universe.
To be able to arrive at Land End [SF,Ca]and look out and see the sun shinning on the golden Gate.
To be able to give and receive love along this three day journey.
For all of this, I am so grateful.
