Hello Everyone,
I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the forums. I enjoy reading them every day. I have had some success with SOGR and I try to remember how I was feeling at the time when I had sent my wants out to the formless. But, on the more important things that I really need I have a hard time capturing that feeling to make it happen. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to be able to reproduce feelings.

You can try writing a letter to a fictitious person. Go into great detail of what it is like to already have what you want. Imagine writing about your IDEAL life and lifestyle. FEEL what it FEELS like. Imagine writing to someone you trust implicitly who wants to hear everything about your success and happiness.

Dear _____ ,

I know you want to know what my life is like, so here goes. I know you want the details, so I’ll try my best not to leave anything out.

As you know, I’ve been exercising really regularly and taking really good care of myself. Not like the old days. Now I don’t take ANYTHING for granted, and I’m in really TERRIFIC shape. (You’d be proud and happy to see, I know.) Some of what I do is, I run and jog very regularly, at least three times a week. I usually go for at least 20 minutes, so I can get my heart beating at an aerobic rate, and I try to keep it there for at least 15 minutes.

I also work with weights. I have a few of my own, and I also belong to a really nice gym. I’ll do some light lifting to keep my muscles toned, and I’ll swim laps, and I go to the gym about three or four times a week to get a good all around workout.

When I work out I also take the time to make sure I do enough stretching and relaxing so that I don’t pull any muscles.

Now, don’t get me wrong and think that all of this is like work. It’s not really. I really ENJOY all the working out. In fact, it’s like a positive addiction. I really miss it when I don’t take the time to workout or exercise. Exercising and working out, and all,.. I just really FEEL terrific, as well as I look GREAT!!

You know, sometimes I’ll be out jogging, or working out, and I’ll just feel so good, JUST TO BE ALIVE. I keep finding myself thinking, “I’m one really very lucky guy.” The other day I was almost crying I felt soooo good. But I know it’s not luck. I know I did it. But it still sometimes seems so awesome. Sometimes it’s so wonderful, it’s hard to explain the feeling.

Oh, by the way, I’m also a regular tennis bum. It started out when I noticed one of my business buddies had a racket in his car. So, he said let’s go play sometime. So I did. And I found out I really like it. So, now me and few buddies play a couple times a week at this posh tennis club. No, I’m not a great player, but hey, it’s fun.

I also try to get at least one good massage in a week. I’m telling you, it really does wonders for me. (Beside, Teresa, my masseuse, is very easy on the eyes, if you know what I mean.)

Moneywise, I have plenty of money. Nothing like the ‘old days’ when I was scrimping around and not even managing what I had. Now, I even have several bank accounts. I have my business accounts, for sure. But I also have a couple of personal accounts. I even allot a part of the dividends from some of my investments into one, so I always have plenty of ‘play money’.

Geez, I can’t tell you how good it feels, not to be worrying about money. And I can’t tell you how good it feels, now that I know I’M in control of how much money I have. It’s like I can really breathe easy, every day. It’s not even so much about the money, as it is the KNOWING. It’s just really wonderful to KNOW that what I have is no accident, and that I created it (with the help of the Universe, of course). I’m telling you, this kind of knowing is really priceless.

But I know what you really want to know is how I’m living and what I’m doing. Well, let me tell you, I’m living the life and lifestyle of my dreams. Remember how we used to think of Mondays? Well, now let me tell you what my Mondays are like. I can hardly WAIT to get up in the morning!!!

So here’s what my week is like. For starters,….

So, fill it in or revamp it, however it pleases you.

Phil

Here’s a little synopsis of how Mark Victor Hansen formulates this little exercise.

“First, you have to realize that the power to having everything you’ve ever wanted exists within you.”

“Second, you have to have a clear vision of what your perfect life looks like. That entails you visualizing and writing down exactly what you want on a daily basis.”

“And third, you must believe that your perfect life will manifest itself and become your reality. Remember, whether you believe something is possible or not, you’re right.”

One very good reason why you (and I and others) are not living the life of our dreams is, we still haven’t taken the time to get real CLARITY about what we want.

(Notice this for yourself. When you are very, very clear about something, it is MUCH easier to do it, be it, or imagine having it. Isn't this so? Clarity has power.)

When you write about what you want, with all the little details you can imagine, you are helping yourself create a real, vivid, CLEAR picture of your IDEAL life and lifestyle.

If you do this regularly, and add your wonderful FEELINGS to it as much as you can, you will create something akin to MEMORIES about this dream life. After awhile, you will NATURALLY become drawn to it, and it to you.

When once a person understands this, they realize it is not MAGIC.

Right now, you and I (and most everyone) pretty much just repeat the same thoughts we had yesterday, and the day before, and the day before. And so we continue to reinforce the MEMORY of our current life and its inadequacies. It is our COMFORT ZONE.

If every day you will spend even just twenty minutes each day, writing something more about you DREAM COME TRUE life and lifestyle, you will be doing some of the essential work – paving the foundation, watering the seed, so-to-speak – that will work to bring about the changes you want.

(And, as you do so, also spend some time PREPARING for your success to come. As the Bible says, dig your ditches to prepare for the coming rain, even when you see not a cloud in the sky.)
