Could You Use More Money? The answer is probably, “Yes.” Am I right? (OK, that was a no-brainer. Let’s move on now.) A more important question to me is: Can you fully, by that I mean JOYFULLY, PEACEFULLY, HAPPILY and GRATEFULLY imagine already having PLENTY OF MONEY, more than you need, much more than you currently have, much more than you currently have any need for? As you may have already heard, there is a value in being able to imagine in this sort of way. Done correctly, it raises your mood, delights you, uplifts your ‘vibration’ and changes your relationship to others and the Universe. “The important thing is that you actively put yourself in the vibration you must for your desired outcome to be created.” - Multimillionaire John Assaraf, from p. 168 of his book ‘The Street Kid’s Guide To Having It All’ Consider this excerpt from a 1976 interview between a Mr. Chandler and Arnold Schwarzenegger: Chandler asked Arnold what he was going to do after he retired from bodybuilding. "I'm going to be the number-one box-office star in all of Hollywood," he CALMLY responded. [emphasis mine] Remember, this was when few people outside bodybuilding knew he existed. Chandler said he had to fight to keep a straight face as he was asking how he planned to do that. Arnold's explanation seemed "ridiculously simple," but Chandler never forgot it: "What you do is create a vision of who you want to be, and then LIVE INTO THAT PICTURE AS IF IT WERE ALREADY TRUE." [emphasis mine] “It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects, and, therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.” - Wallace Wattles ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ "Everything is about Law of Attraction. Not law of going out and getting it. It's not law of deserving. It is not law of earning. It is just law of achieving vibrational harmony with that which you want, and then it cannot not come. It must come to you." - Abraham-Hicks But then, to imagine in such a way will COST you. Everything of value has a price to pay. If you are unwilling to pay the price, you cannot get the benefit. So, what is the cost of imagining fully, already having something you want? The cost is, you must give up something quite dear to you: You must, at least temporarily, give up your current sense of yourself and reality and what you think is possible. Now, a superficial look at this kind of ‘paying the price’ would seem to be a no-brainer. It seems we all would easily exchange a more limited view of ourselves and what’s possible, for a more unlimited, expansive and rewarding view. But the truth is often otherwise. Our current view of ourselves and life and its possibilities seems SAFE. It may not be great, but at least it’s somewhat good or it might even be painful, but it’s what we KNOW. And to even temporarily give up the KNOWN for the UNKNOWN can be, well,… it can be SCARY. (Of course, it can also be EXCITING, uplifting and invigorating, but this ‘reaction’ usually comes better with a bit of practice.) This brings me to the concept of COURAGE. What is it to be courageous? It is not, as some think, acting without fear. More often it’s acting IN SPITE OF fear. Have you ever said a friendly, “Hello,” to someone you didn’t know, but were very attracted to? If so, you probably know what I’m talking about. Back to to image of having PLENTY OF MONEY. Can you say, “Hello,” to having plenty of money in delightful, peaceful ways? (Or, any other great thing that you want?) Just a thought. Phil "The Universe is responding to how we feel." Great post Phil. Just what I needed to hear. I do believe all that you have said and understand it, but acting as if it is 100% true, that's the hard bit. Your right, the known is easier to accept than the unknown and letting go is so very difficult. I also guess the scale of what you are asking for and how it may affect you influences that too. If it is something small that, should it not work out it wouldn't have great consequences it's probably easier to let go of your perceived realities and achieve your desire. Ironically, it is most likely the things that you want the most and that could play a significant part in your life that are the most difficult to achieve. Personally I think I am really getting there with the smaller goals, but the bigger ones! The fear factor is really a difficult obstical to overcome. But, everytime I achieve a small goal through the certain way, it does have a slight calming influence on the bigger isses. So I guess I just have to keep building up the smaller targets in order to convince myself that the larger ones are a certainty and not a possibility that could go wrong in some way. Again, great post, Thanks, Mark. All I want is to be the best I can possibly be!

Wierdo, I don't want to get into much detail here (that would be unnecessary dwelling on the past) but let me tell you that the biggest upsets in my life turned out to be the biggest blessings. Hadn't I gone through them, I wouldn't have gotten to where I am now. When I look back I can tell you that upon every big disappointment or perceived failure on my part followed a very happy event and or success! So should it not 'work out' as you planned, be grateful, because something better will definitely come along. Hold your vision with faith and purpose and do your thing in the certain, efficient way. Regards, Lucky.

I agree so much with Lucky. Sometimes, our disappointments, leads us to GREATER things in life. If you imagine something big happening to you and it didn't don't be stressed up for nothing, just be sure that something GREATER is in the offing. It is just waiting for you to develop a GREATER capacity for you to handle it. Hope this helps. Bola

I had been putting off reading this thread as it just didn't grab me. i read it just now and realize that it wouldn't have meant as much before today. Today something I've been skirting around hit me full in the face, Let me give you a short history. I am a medical doctor. I am pretty young, 26, and recently left a job in a large hospital, that was not for me to take up a much lower paying job in the countryside. my job is pretty safe as I work with the government but it is not what i want to do. I took it up because it was safe and in the country and near my husband to be. Mainly though because it was safe. I started thinking about launching out on my own and starting the kind of thing that I really want to do...whole person health and well-being. The vibes were right as I got 2 offers in one week one of which absolutely required that I give up my job and the other I could work full-time or part-time. As it was safer I chose part-time. I have been increasing honest with myself and have started to form a clear mental image of what I truly desire. I could quit my job tomorrow and throw myself fully into it...100% but that is not safe. I have loans to service. My present business partner has poured out to me his CMI and it is almost the same as my own. The thing is in order to do this I feel I must let go of the safety line and leap in faith. i am trying to stop the doubts and the fear but it's not easy as this will probably be seen as irresponsible and not the level-headed thing to do. Sku7p I understand your plight to some extent. I know I should follow my heart but for most of my life the people who have meant the most to me have been trying to discourage my natural tendency to do so until I have almost forgotten how. I think I'm scared.

Starz, I think what I might do in your situation is, do your new business one day a week. Maybe every Saturday. Then, if it takes off, expand it into two days, and somehow take a day off your ‘regular job’. You’d also get to ‘try out’ the new line of work, to see if it really fits you well, or if the reality of it might need a little tweeking. Then, if you actually see it working, attract or manifest investors so that you aren’t so severely financially burdened with the full transition. It seems to me you that you may not have to leap from one to the other. One other thing I would consider: How much time would you ideally want to HAVE to spend in your new ideal line of work? The reason I ask this is, I often see people get into their own business, and they end up just creating another ‘job.’ Is this what you want? Or, have you already figured it out how you could have your new business successfully running without you having to be a slave to it? Phil "The Universe is responding to how we feel." What I received today from your post was for me the crux of my block and perhaps those of others. Can I truely believe, with my whole heart and soul and in the CERTAIN WAY in ME having plenty of money? That is probably the MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION - when it is a resounding yes, I WILL GET THE MILLION DOLLARS!! Abraham says that a belief is just a habitual thought. HMMMM - Thanks Phil XXLiz

I love that...HELLO! It may seem rather superficial - but I was shopping today and was choosing between a purse I REALLY wanted and the one I "currently" could afford. I said HELLO to the one I REALLY wanted and put it on layaway to REALLY appreciate it after I take care of certain priorities. More importantly, that LARGER MORE EXPENSIVE purse is directly connected to another compromise I almost made. I am actually preparing to manufacture a patent pending product and had stopped visualizing the license process when a major licensee pulled out during negotiations. I have since been visualizing ALL the major and medium sized companies in the cosmetic industry contacting me and my patent attorney to sign on to 5 year renewable licensing contracts (non-exlcusive). I'm fully prepared to manufacture my product for these companies at a cost I never imagined possible. BIG HELLO TO GRATITUDE. If you told me 2 years ago this would happen - I probably would have stared blankly at you like an alien eating m&m's and quoting Shakespeare at dinner at Spagos. But I'm saying HELLO to the best deals/offers available. I expect them to greet me back very soon. AND I will certainly remember to say HELLO to the very attractive man of excellent character destined to be my life. :-) Thanks again and HELLO to unlimited wealth... LeTicia
