After reading and rereading Boris's posting "Resistance - poisonous to creation power" on the discuss the book forum, it was impressed upon me to see how other felt about being accountable to each other with applying the priciples we are learning.

At this point I am not sure how we would do this. It is something I think would be helpful to me. Like many things, I got off to a fast start and then allowed little things to creep in and get me focusing on the wrong things.

Let me know if you think this is a good approach and whether it would work with this setting.

Have a great day and many blessings coming your way.

Hello my friend Hoagie,

Yes, I totally agree with you and "Czar" Boris, TheIdeaMan regarding "Resistance - poisonous to creation power" ...

UP TO NOW Wink, the negative self-talk inside of us is so strong and dominant that it's overcoming any temporary motivational positive boost of energy & enthusiasm. We need to refill daily with positive self-talk, CMI, faith, gratitude and all SOGR natural ingredients ...
Wink

Best Wishes!

Hi Hoagie,
It's an interesting concept. LIke there is the gratitude thread, we might have an accountability thread but what would that be like? Have I spent time today relaxing and being happy? Have I guarded my thoughts and shifted my feelings to positive when I am doubting, angry or in fear? Have I spent time writing or expressing or feeling my gratitude today? Have I spent time focusing on my cmi? What efficient action have I taken this day? Is there anyone besides myself that needs a full blown BLAST? And have I read another chapter of SOGR this day to keep it in my mind? So many aspects, yes?

Maybe I'll make my own accountability chart! Big Grin
What else would be good to include? Food for thought. Thanks. Jazz

Greetings all...

...could someone explain what cmi and blast is? I don't recall these in the book but it has been some months since I read it again.

I see these words used often, but still cannot figure them out. Blast, though seems to be to bombard something/someone with positive thoughts????

Hola, Sandu-CanDO! Wink

Thank you very much for the explanations!

But I have a few questions about BLAST. Is this something from the SOGR book? And how is BLAST applied? Is it mental blasting or must one say it to the other person??

saludos,

Quick reply to Tosca's question.

Blast is not part of the SOGR book but is prevelent on the forums. I personally wouldn't BLAST someone outloud although there are parts of it that you may want to express to them.

Dr Gaylek had expanded the I'm sorry to I'm sorry that I have allowed you to cut me off from my source.

Blast has really helped me in my realtionship with my wife.

Hello Tom,

That was a quick answer! Dr. Gaylek's version 'sits' better with me and would make sense in many situations.

Thank you!
