I've posted before that I got sick on Dec 31 and have ended up in the hospital twice with the last time being for surgery. I had complications with infections that lasted all the way up until just a few days ago.

I had also posted that I was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that people kept giving me and wanted it to stop. It has slowed down a bit but I have also realized that I am "supposed" to have this stuff - I haven't figured out why for all of it yet but I'm going to. I did get rid of some other things that needed to go so it's not so bad.

At the beginning of the year I had decided to start a new website for fun and maybe make some money off of it - it's to be more of an experiment and opportunity to learn new skills. I registered a domain name for a few dollars and, all of a sudden, I kept finding tons of free infomation on exactly what I needed. But I got too sick to act upon it.

Meanwhile, opportunities arose for my daughter whom we homeschool and I had to put those on hold.

So here I sit with everything I need to live a healthier life, have a better outward appearance (instead of my usual slacker/unkempt look), make my home look nicer inside and out, start my new "hobby business", give my daughter an enriching life, educate myself, and provide a more exciting life for myself and my family overall. And all of it falls within my CMI and all of it was given to me. I asked and the Universe gave and kept on giving.

I'm finally recovered enough that I can now take inspired action and act upon everyhing I have. Since I missed the "official" New Year's (I was sick as a dog), I am considering this my New Year's Day and am excited at everything I get to do with all of this great stuff that has been giving to me.

It was an excellent "first day". Spent some time cleaning up around the house and sorting through insurance papers and medical bills and paid the "true" bills (the ones that had been processed by the insurance company).

Went shopping for a few things and got a parking space right up front. I needed some more reading glasses and thought about looking for some but last time they were several dollars at this store. I can get them at the dollar store for a dollar a pair. But then I took a quick look at this store's dollar bins and they had a whole assortment so I got three pairs. I also wanted a bottle of nail polish but wanted to pay less than a $1 because I just wanted to try a differnt color without the expense - found what I wanted for 97 cents.

Came home and had gotten a coupon for a free pair of panties from Victoria Secret, more papers from my insurance company showing the next level of coverage had kicked in (good thing - means I pay less).

Put on some "real" clothes as opposed to sweats and took my daughter to a birthday party were I got to socialize for the first time in almost two months. I also offered my house for the next homeschool gathering. Had a very enjoyable time.

Came back home to find a large indvidual order had been place (very good thing). Made dinner and we watched a movie together.

This morning I woke up to an email from a customer say thanks and that my customer service is #1 and got another order (usual size order but money is money).
