Wallace Wattles was a genius of insight and subtlety.
Here’s my story. Lately, things haven’t been going my way. Well actually they have. But my way was a way of frustration and impatience with what is. Hmmmm? What’s my problem. So I dust off the old trusty SOGR pdf and read it. Right there it hits me. Gratitude.
One word, one solution to so many ills.
So I had to retrain my brain to be grateful. In doing so another word has helped me that I’d like to share.
Savor.
Savor the coffee, Savor the sunshine, Savor the moment, Savor every single sense.
What that had one is cause me to vibrate at the highest level. But also to be grateful in the now.
In the now, present. Gratitude is the one thing that centers me quicker and easier than anything else. Savoring forces me to use all my senses to enjoy it whatever it is.
Savor the adrenaline, savor the sleepiness, savor the traffic, savor the open road, savor the crowds, savor the silence, savor the moon, savor the sunshine.

I’m rediscovering my life. And it’s so full of stuff to savor. Right now I’m about to go get lunch at my favorite restaurant. Guess what I’ gonna do. Savor.

I am savoring time that my wife and I are spending with our son, his wife, our grandson and granddaughter!

I am savoring their beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood on an acre of land!

I am savoring the project that our son assigned to me, removing old paneling from the walls of thier second home with a beautiful view of the lake!

I am savoring Wisconsin in October, dipping to 50 at night but warming up to the 70's during the day, beautiful fall colors!

I am savouring adding new insights to my understanding and application of SOGR everyday! today i had a new insight as I read Wally's chapter on acting in a certain way! And that he says that getting rich is the most noble and good thing in life because it includes everything else! Wow! getting rich in a certain way includes getting rich in everything else,relationships, career, hobbies, adventures,etc...

I am savouring waking up every morning and being thankful to be alive, and fully engaged in life!

I am savouring the beauty of the world around me! And appreciating everything I have now is the best way for me to "..enter into full enjoyment of the things I want"!

Earlier this morning I savored a swim in our new pool! We had filled it with water yesterday evening and the water was still cold so I didn't stay in long! The contracter did hook the equipment up this afternoon so I expect to have warmer water tomorrow! I really did enjoy the swim jets, I just keep swimming, until I get tired - no turning!

I am savoring the smell of linseed oil and turpentine in my studio-the sweet scent of artistic success!

I am savouring all that I am now, All that I have now, knowing that it will lead me to being, having and enjoying more in my life!

I am savouring the successful mindset of living in a certain way and being all that I can be right now!

When I watch my mind movie I savor the smell of money! I actually take cash out of my wallet and smell it like it was some fresh flowers or a bath and bodyworks lotion scent!

I am savoring stretching and priming 2 canvases to prepare them for a pet portrait commission. I get to paint 3 gorgeous Siberian huskies and a most handsome silver tabby cat.

I am savoring the progress made on our pool and spa! Yesterday and the day before were spent creating rock art out of plaster on the outside and today was spent painting the outside of the pool and spa!!

I had given them a small rock with reds, yellows, blacks ane whites. The rock art matches that sample exactly - these guys are really good!

I am savoring the total look of this corner of the back yard! This is dug into a hillside, from the front it is 3 1/2 feet above ground and the back has a 3 1/2 foot wall above water level with a water fall in it. The top of the back wall is at ground level!

I am savoring that the guys doing this job are looking forward to compleation of everything so that they can take pictures and use the pictures in advertising, this is a total custom job, they have never done anything like it or seen anything like it before!

Next week the contractor will have the inside plastered and the pumps hooked up, I am looking forward to swimming in it by the end of that week!
