I need some tips for manifesting some more...tips. *Hehehe*

I am frequently given tips here at work and that has been an additional source of income that has helped out in many a pinch!

My request is for suggestions for a CMI to increase tips this week. :-)

Karin-

Years ago, before I knew about SOGR, I discovered that, when my business was down, if I spent time getting my office in order and spent time starting to research business/marketing ideas, sales would suddenly approved even if I had not applied any of the information. It was just the act of being in a positive frame of mind. This has been true in many areas of my life for the last week.

Due to illness/hospital, I was behind on data entry/bookkeeping and had let my follow-up letters slide somewhat. Beginning last Monday, I really cracked down and focused on getting things in order and getting back into fully servicing my customers. Sales have been incredible the past week.

Saturday, I made a conscious effort to look presentable for a b-day party and a gift card for a free pair of Victoria Secret underwear showed up in the mail. Yeah, it's a little thing but it was still like getting a "thumbs up" for my efforts.

Saturday I also sorted my insurance and medical bills paperwork and paid off the bills that had already been processed by the insurance company. Yesterday, I got notice that they were pauing a #20,000 bill in full.

While I was ill, my husband had taken over grocery shopping and he and my daughter had gone out to eat many times. He spent a ton of money (we have enough junk food and processed food to feed an army now). I took back over menu planning and grocery shopping Sunday and brought the food bill way down. Sunday I got an email for a coupon for a soup and salad place we like to go (way healthier eating than a fast food place). Yesterday I talked to my parents and they want to take us all out to lunch this week "just because".

I could give more examples. But basically, if I ask myself "How does an organized business person act, how do I want my house to look, what kind of image do I want to give with my clothing, etc., and I act that way (even if my current resources are limited), opportunities and physical things just start showing up left and right.

Of course, giving gratitude for everything is a must.

I really enjoyed reading that, thanks for sharing!

I don't have my own business, but I will look to see where I can organise, and of course, I'm keeping up with the gratitude. In fact, just filing old bills is what comes to mind so I'll do that.

An unexpected cheque is being paid into my wife's account tomorrow so at least that is some good news!! (We were going to run out of gas money.)

Part of my CMI is to work no more than three hours a day while bringing in lots of money (either from my business or elsewhere). It is possible to do (except for the occassional big project). I know from experience, that if I am consistant on keeping up with my business on a daily basis, that many days will have far less work to do.

Another part of my CMI is to try my hand at a (totally unrelated) site for an idea I had. When I did the simple act of registering the domain name at the beginning of the year, I suddenly started running across all kinds of information that can help me. Due to illness, I was unable to act upon it.

What my plan is, is to do my business is a timely manner and, any day that has less than two hours of work, start working on the other site so that I put a mimimum of two hours of effort in a day. I have to say that I like my current business and setting up the new site is going to be a fun adventure for me. I don't look at either one as things I have to do but things I get to do and am glad for the opportunity.

If you have an interest in starting your own business, advancing yourself in your current field, etc. then either free up some time at work and/or set aside some time at home to explore/educate/do. Once you have taken the inspired action, the universe will start helping you toward your goal.

Karin,

For many years I worked as a waiter and my income depended on tips I received. I used to set a goal (intention) on how much I wanted to make each day and on days when I didn't let the appearances influence me into lowering my expectations, I either exceeded or came within 90-95% of my goal.

These days, in a different business, where my total income is based on people's perceived value of what I provide, (similar to the PG course where you determine the tuition) I simply focus on providing maximum use value and I am rewarded generously. In the last 10 days since I adopted that policy, I have more than doubled my income while working less hours and with ZERO stress.

Those are my best tips for manifesting more tips.

Thanks, Mr Weirdo!

God does provide when we don't look at appearances!

My engine diagnostic light went on a second time in a few weeks. Peugeot can't slot me in until Tuesday and I am not under warranty anymore. BUT I read a devotional the same day the light went on about how a child trusted his mother to fix his toy car and how we should have childlike faith. I just knew the message for me was to pray: Papa, fix it. Well, the light went off by itself today!

Hi Karin,

Sing to them! Roll Eyes

It may loosen them up and they'll tip more.
If they like what they hear, they'll tip more.
If they don't like what they hear, they'll tip you to stop! Big Grin

Just joking around, but I for one would
personally love to hear you sing!

Bob Proctor says in reference to practicing
creative visualization: "Bring in your senses.
Make the image real. Feel emotions and see others benefiting." So visualize your customers benefiting greatly from your
service to them, think about how that makes
you feel and how they feel, and see them
joyfully and gratefully giving you a larger
tip. Feel the emotions that you will experience
when you receive those larger tips. Make the
image as emotional as possible." Bob P.
suggests doing this creative visualization
about 10 minutes every day for a month to
make it a very real part of YOU.

Oh dear, but I think the applicants would most probably think I'd lost it if I started singing! *giggle*

I have lead a few songs at church but mostly I sing harmony (higher notes).

This Sunday I would have led the singing but a close family friend of my wife's father died and we are in a different town... kinda disappointing after I had prepared myself for it, but I know my turn will come again and I trust God's timing.
