Hello,

A few years ago I came across The Science of Getting Rich, the moment I read the book it felt like something finally 'clicked'.
As if I always knew it, but now I know I wasnt alone in thinking that.

I also joined Rebecca's Practical Geniuses course. However, at first I had a weird feeling about some of the things.

If you look at my first posts on the site (must be around 2007) I was having trouble believing that the is no such thing as "not-enough".

Then I got a few very interesting replies and thought I understood.

I continueed the course but I still had a nagging feeling that 'hmm not, I am not so sure yet'. So I decided to leave it for a while and do the best with the knowledge I had so far.

So I put the book down, and spent a few months on gratitude. I would wake up and look around and always think how blessed I was to have whatever I had. At those time I didnt have much, as I had no job. But I had a place to live, and now that I had the knowledge of how the world works I felt lucky and rich, I knew that once I let it all sink in , I will be able to bring better things to my life.

So I took my time.. the months passed and I slowly started feeling more secure. There were a few hick-ups along the way, but in general I didnt lose faith. This has become as second nature to me.

Then last year I felt a need to pick up the book again, and read the course once more. I felt I was ready for it all now. As I was reading it the second time around, I felt no resistance. No nagging feelings of doubt. I suppose it was all within my mental state now, I knew it was true. From that point on, I read many other books about the subject as I loved reading the positive words and the encouraging texts.

At that time I was also thinking which direction to go in my life, career wise. I decided to take my time and experiment with different things.
Then, all of a sudden an idea came to mind.

I always loved design, and I found a way to combine what I now knew about the 'mental image' of the things you wish to have.
I decided to learn more about interior design, and then add to it an angle of turning your surroundings to a positive image of what you wish to have. I am still learning, but in the mean time I have decided to share my passion with others, and started a blog about images which help us focus on the things we want)

So I just wanted to say how this has been a proccess which has taken me to a completely different direction than the one I thought I would take in life, all thanks to the faith Mr Wallace and Rebecca instilled in me by saying there is no lack, no competition, all that matters is what within us!

I am grateful for the book coming into my life and for this lovely course.

Hi Svet;

Thank you for your interesting post!

There is a lot of great stuff that you can do with the knowledge of interior design. My daughter took that knowledge and is now designs sets for the film industry. She has thought about using that knowledge to buy run down houses, fix them up and reselling them.
