Quantum physics from a newbie!!

Hello everyone!
I have just started reading SOGR and I'm sooo excited! I have been reading and studying much of this kind of thing in the last year, but this book has just been the most amazing thing I have ever, ever read! And I'm thrilled to also find a discussion forum!
One thing that struck me so much was that science is 'now' discovering this intelligent substance (although mainstream science is doing its best to deny it!!) and calling it Quantum Physics - and Mr Wattle knew about this 100 years ago! Why didn't the world listen to him then! :-)
What I most love is the positive aspect of this all - the gratitude, the love and respect - I KNOW this is going to work for me.
I have been trying to overcome anxiety and panic for about ten years - great fear and social anxiety. This, I KNOW, is the way forward for me - to change my thinking from dwelling on the anxiety and seeing courage and happiness around me.
Nice to meet you all!
Hugs
Jools xxx

Jools,

I'm not sure why "modern science" will deny Metaphysics, but it surely does work should one believe it. Along, the same lines I've been studing how to induce / have out od body experiences and it's coming along great! I'm very exicted to visit other dimensions and astral worlds. I've been doing it all my life unconsciously until I was sidetrcked from my original thought and thinking pattern and now I now I'm conciously creating. We all are whether people believe it or not (at least in my world we are). And yes, you can do it Jools! I know you can overcome whatever it is that you wish! Nothing can hold you down now that you know you are the one creating your reality! Success in all you do my friend! Smile

Hi Jools and welcome welcome welcome Smile

Reading thru the latest posts reminds me of two ideas that I have come across (don't remember where) which resonate so deeply with me that I love to say them again and again.

1. Truth is truth no matter who says it or when
or where they say it.
2. We are deliberate co-creators in training.

Gives me a warm-n-fuzzy to think of the awareness to that fact.

Peace Love and Light to all
Randy

PS I hope this is not too off topic for this thread by a really neato-cool book is "The Holographic Universe" by Micheal Talbot. Was about 1/3 thru it when I discovered (and devoured) SOGR

A very warm welcome Jools

Once you have conquered your fear regardless of where that was directed you've won.

Doing the lifelabs from the very first one is fantastic and the forum is wonderful.

Hugs back to you Jools.

Welcome Jools! I can relate since I once had chronic panic disorder with frequent debilitating panic attacks. Eek There was a point at which I was afraid to leave the house - literally. I don't know the severity of your anxiety but if you are at this point or not quite there yet - you can, YOU WILL - overcome it. I have come so far back from that point that it's almost as if it never happened to me. Have gratitude that there are many others that suffer with the same thing. Surf the net and you'll find almost endless sources of information and support on the issue. Make a study of the cures and the people all over the world who have overcome this. If you need me to point you in the right direction send me an email! Smile

Your friend - Opeth

Jools, welcome.

Someone further down suggested that you identify what happens just before you get your symptoms. Is it a thought that you think, or something that you do, something that happens externally? That is very important. I know, from studying NLP, that by finding out what is called the 'trigger' for a symptom, or behaviour, and then putting in suitable treatments, (which are often VERY simple) you can overcome almost anything. It might help to find an NLP practitioner who can help you with this. If that's not practical or you don't want to work with someone else, then all the other suggestions on this board will work - it just might take a little longer. Keep on!

Opeth,

Yes, the same thing happened to me and I couldn't quite pin point where the anxiety came from until I looked in my head. I had to clear it all out and now it's as if I never went throught that either. I had to believe in myself and the Universe and the Universe would believe in me. Trust is a big part of leaving it all behind. Smile

Jools,

I know you can do this without a doubt. I have done it and I know you can. You must trust yourself fully. A suggestion is to put a smile on your face and keep it there are the time no matter what comes to your mind. Your happiness will take over your thought patterns I believe and you will flow naturally. Trust, that is a big factor here. Trust in yourself and in the Universe and the Universe will trust you back. It cannot fail you. You cannot fail when united with the Universe. Smile
