Good points. It is a telling situation. I used to be afraid to look at the results, so I would have two or three tickets sitting around from 2 or 3 months past before I'd get the nerve to look. I never expected to win and if I did I was terrified of the unexpected change. I am now less afraid to look and enjoying more aspects of the game. Maybe I will grow out of this lottery stage and get to a more empowered place soon. Here's hoping....cause thats where I'm at.

Croz I am going to sleep thinking what if and waking up with what if. I am totally believing I am going to win. I am going to win.

LOL...now you all have me doubting, just when Jack is sure. I mean we all have the visualizations in our heads. We absolutely feel the feel. But maybe playing the lottery is the "how" and we are taught not to worry about the "how". (Unless we are insppired to action at which point we do know the how because the inspired action is the how.) So maybe we are just back to feeling freedom....which I do all the time in my fantasy life anyway...and letting whatever is best to flow towards us.

Annie I think when you picture you perfect world you think of it as just a fantasy. Once you put some belief behind it things will start to move in that direction. As for the lottery someone wins almost every week why not me? I have seen enough to know the law of attraction works and it doesn’t have anything to do with being worth or deserving its about lining everything up. Line up your thoughts and feelings and believe you can win That’s the Ticket….

I have been wondering about this fantasy life I lead....good point Jack. I am so used to going there to escape. The few times I tried to make things I day dreamed about real, the reality wasn't even close to as much fun. So I retreat and dream of things that I hope might not even happen, lest they come with unpleasant consequences. But winning contests...well that seems harmless enough.

There is a article in Parade Magazine about a woman who won $112 million, by visualizing it, including the exact amount and what she would be wearing when she found out. It was 4 years ago that she won, and she is fulfilling her dream of making movies. Asked if she's worried about losing the money, she says, "I would simply visualize it again and make it happen." My biggest use for the lottery is to occasionally hear about a really BIG one (like the Euromillions, which often goes over £40million) and imagine what I'd do with it, that helps bust out limiting thinking and cobwebs, also shows me where I already have the stuff from a millionaire lifestyle: eg I wouldn't upgrade things like my lovely morning coffee cup, or my beautiful wedding ring! And sometimes I've realised that the things on my list can be bought anyway with a bit of planning, or acquired/created in another way, for example I had this vision of the perfect roll-top desk, I managed to create something similar for £25 recently by adding a second-hand bookshelf to my existing desk... stuff like that. If I'd not freely dreamed of my perfect desk, I might not have spotted that opportunity to improvise it! I view it, the whole "what would I do with X millions" exercise as dynamite for the limiting beliefs that are a side-effect of living sensibly within my means at present, especially where those limiting beliefs involve me not noticing I already have the "best" something (wedding ring, coffee cup)... does that make any sense? Your whole post makes a lot of sense to me, and I wanted to share a quote related to what you said, about 'noticing.' “The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change -- until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds." - Scottish psychologist R. D. Laing Your way of thinking seems to help alleviate this. And, as a kind of similar thought, here's another quote: "It's not what people don't know that hurts them. It's what they do know that just ain't so." Will Rogers Oh, and let me add to the, “What would I do with X millions?” question. Since it’s our dominant feelings that attract, I find it very helpful to ALSO ask, “How would I FEEL if I had X millions?” Or, "How would I WANT to feel if I had X millions?" (*A little side note: Some people, when I ask them this question, say they would feel nervous or anxious. If this is you, then ask yourself, “How would I WANT to feel, if I had X millions?” That should make it a bit more fulfilling. Phil "The Universe is responding to how we feel." Esther Hicks
