Hi all,
I don't know what I am doing wrong or what I am not doing, but my breakthrough just will not materialize. What do you do when all your efforts do not seem to move the mountains even an inch -- prayers go unanswered and you have read and tried to put into action the Bible and nearly all the self-help books out there and somehow, none of it seem to make a difference, despite your best efforts? Has anyone of you ever experienced this level of failure and found your breakthrough -- if so what did you do to turn things around so you could see visible results. I am willing to try anything at this time (even walking on hot coals) -- if that's what it will take to change my life -- so it can be meaningful and productive. My search has been a long and desperate one -- and it has led me to this forum -- I hope I can find some answers here. God Bless you all and thanks in advance for your help. sincerely, Roni |

All I can say is SOGR is working for me.
It will not happen overnight of course. I use this method for years, there are some obstacles of course like disbelief, hesitation etc. But periodical SOGR mind exercise will make a huge change in your life. I use a daily reminder for SOGR and it works fine with me. From ABSOLUTE ZERO now I have a good job and I will move in to my first house (finally....) in the next couple of months. Now I'm expecting and visualizing a better job for the next step in my life. Be patient. But if you want a speedy result, you have to visualize often and quickly get rid any conflicting thought. I hope your problem will be quickly solved. |

Roni--
I know how you feel. I don't know your specific situation, but from the wording in your email, I have a suggestion that may help you. Right now, you believe that you are trying to move a mountain. But we all know--you can't move a mountain, unless you have a miracle. So--either--you need to materialize a miracle, or . . . you need to change the mountain into a molehill. Either approach would work. SOGR helps you do both. You hasten the materialization of good things, and at the same time, you decrease your belief in the mountain as a solid entity. I'd say--stop searching the outside sources and get serious searching within. What specific beliefs do you have about yourself which keep you bound to your current set of circumstances? About wealth and poverty, frustration and peace, knowing and searching? Then--make a different choice. I wish you speedy success. Ilana |

HI Roni......How about getting your attention OFF your life being such a chore??? See whatever is in your life now as an opportunity to increase your gratitude because what you experience right now is what YOU created by your thoughts. Sooooo, make darned sure that your thoughts NOW are creating your next experiences just the way you like them ! ! ! It requires consistent effort to change our patterns of thinking around. Give yourself big pats on the back for all that you've done already (and I get the idea that you have accomplished great things to date). Best wishes to you........you can do this. Check out what Mr. Wattles says in his two chapters on WILL...........Much Success to YOU, and to us ALL...........dd

Dear Roni,
When I read your post I wondered, âWhat is she feeling? What is she believing?â Iâd like to know: Do you believe in luck, chance, accident, random events or conditions? Maybe you believe there is some higher power or God that is simply fickle, whimsical or that plays favorites. I believe, if you do, there is not much hope for you. Why? Because you will end up chalking up your life conditions to good or bad luck, or some evil whimsical God power. Even if things go well for you, you will still be insecure because you will believe that at any moment, the same God that has blessed you might just as well curse you. So, it seems to me, if you believe in luck, youâre in for a hellish ride. On the other hand, maybe you DONâT believe in luck, chance or accident. If so, I think you are better off. You understand that itâs no accident that you need to put gas in your car, and not water or soda pop, in order to have it work properly. In other words, you understand there is some sort of ORDER to things, even if you donât know what that order is. In the realm of science they teach there are Universal Laws or Principles that govern the happenstance and order and design and condition of everything. If science is right then there MUST also be laws or principles that govern the design and conditions of human lives and experience. Or, do you believe you and I and everyone experiences whatever we experience to some greater or lesser degree of chance? If you do believe in even the slightest degree of luck or chance you are back to the above hellish frightening scenario, where you are stuck with being uncertain about and afraid in life, no matter how good it might appear. If you DON'T believe in chance then maybe you believe in Unchanging, Immutable Universal Laws or Principles. Do you believe in the Principle of Cause and Effect? If so, what do you think is causing your present circumstances and experiences? What is causing them to change as they are changing, or to remain as they are? Where or what do you think is the Causative Power? To me, this is a key question you need to answer, if you are going to take control of the changes you want to see happen in your life. Phil |

Hi Roni,
I'm new to the forum here, but can certainly empathize with what you're saying. I always wonder about someone's timeframe. How long have you been "at it", working on your breakthrough? Usually what I find is -- it takes three times as long as what we expected, something I simply call unrealistic expectations. Kent F. |
