Hello everyone. It's been some time since I've particiapted in the forum. Had some major life changes (for the better), and lost touch with this for a while. I'm back now, and look forward to sharing experiences with all of you - again
I have a question about creating a fresh CMI...My biggest desire is to live in my own home (currently living with my parents). I would appreciate any practical recommendations for refining and achiveing this goal. Thank you for all of your feedback on this post - several other questions were addressed by reading through them Best, Nick |

Hi all,
I don't have a clear mental image what I mean is I know what I want from my life but I can't visualise it not like the book says anyway all I can get are feelings, I want to be in a position where I don't have money worries live in a nice home etc...I don't have any of these things at the moment and I never have had, I have always wanted this but never managed to get anywhere near it relationships wise I can't define what would make me truly happy maybe this is where the problem lies I don't know. I know the book says you need money comming out of your ears to do good in the world and yes that would be nice to know I can give something back and contribute. Like the name says I don't get it yet but I want to get it, I am starting the PC course today maybe I'll get it soon? |

Hi Nick and "I don't get it yet,"
I've been working on this lately and have an idea you might find useful. I've been making mind maps. You know how one looks, with the thing you want in the middle, and then around it, all the relationships, conditions, beliefs, thoughts, attitudes, feelings, other aspects of life that would support it all around it. It sounds like you, "I don't get it yet" already have lots of the outer pieces of the mind map in place. To try out this method, you'd just keep putting in the pieces of the life you desire in place until it becomes clear what else would fit in the middle. And maybe it's an image you you as happy and peaceful! Let the rest of the details take care of themselves! And Nick, you'd start with the image of your own home in the middle, then add all the other pieces around it until you have the whole image into which this part naturally fits. Here's an example of what I mean by the pieces. You're in your own home. You have a harmonious relationship with your parents. You have a steady income. You are grateful for your parents. You are grateful for your home. You are grateful for your work. You feel secure in your home. You have a nice view out your windows. etc. Then, to make the central piece happen, you work on ANY of the pieces that you already have, or can easily imagine, until the whole picture becomes clear. The thing that makes this fun and workable is that you build the pieces so that the whole picture makes sense--the central piece fits with all the other pieces and isn't just floating around out there without all the supportive beliefs, relationships, and experiences. This isn't about knowing how it's all going to happen. It's about creating a big picture that matches the vibration of what you want. I don't know if I've given enough detail that this makes sense yet. Can anyone give me feedback? Thanks! Hi everyone,
Here are two YouTube videos explaining how to Mind Map. Thought they might help explain what Dr. G was talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UCXalYcoko http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8_H42Z9wxA With love, LauraK |

Mind Mapping, Cool!! I have got to give this a try! Here is something I enjoy doing, and for all of you creative writers out there, (and maybe even if you are not such a creative writer as well), you might consider giving this a try. Write your CMI(s) as a short story. I write mine in first person prose, usually starting with waking in the morning where I wish to be and creating all of the aspects of my CMI as I go along. I wrap every aspect of this image with the five senses, as well as emotions, thoughts, gratuities, etc. As I write my CMI story, it comes to life for me seeming clearer and more real as I go. Later, I need only think of it at any moment in time and the entire picture of the entire story floods my mind. For me, this is very powerful; perhaps it may work for some of you as well. |

Hi everyone.
I want to share a realization here. My boyfriend and I were very tired and sick of the old apartment we live in, small and in a horrible area. We really wanted to move from here, since long time ago. We didn't really got settled, make it nice, or even bought proper furniture. A month ago we've got to visit two other flats in much nicer areas. We were very exited. BUT guess what? The flats were not better than the one we already have. Small, dark... nothing we really liked. We learned that for the apartment we really want to come to us, we must, first, be happy and grateful with what we have NOW. And from there, create the Image of what we want. We subscribed to a interior design magazine, we redecorated our apartment, we started a file where we design, cut and paste images of all what we need in our new environment. We visited houses of millions of dollars to get a taste, a feeling, in our bodies and mind, of what is like what we really want. we know that we our dream house is coming. The vision is getting definitive and we can feel it in our body when we visit those houses that, today, seems impossible to pay for. This project has become an exercise. and we are applying it for other than our house. Another insight: it is not what we want, but what we NEED. It is a very big different. I find WANT is close to the competitive mind, and we can get the message wrong. The fact that we articulate that we NEED something, at least it is for me, much more in alignment with a PURPOSE: the purpose of living more life, all the life I am capable of living, all I am capable for creating, for me and those around me. For sure, fellow Geniuses, I will keep you posted when I get the dreamed house, we target 2012. Live with passion! And keep Your Vision High! Carolina Rodriguez Barros Image Guru - Dare to Glow |

I've been wanting to post for a while now. Kristina and I have a "dream board" where we past pictures of what we want (need). The picture we put on the board for our house is
and the house we ended up with is For some reason we only received the middle section and the garage instead of being under the house is where the 3 big windows are. But notice the lines of the roof. Exactly match the imaged house. Not bad I'd say. Still we need more practice imaging. A little more accuracy. We're happy in our new house. * I noticed that my post just has a square where the image should be. Right click on the image square and click 'view image'. |

I think that (Digital) Photography can help with creating a visual representation of your clear mental image.
And indeed it's also good to realise that your image could also include other 'sensory impressions' or thoughts about them. All the Best, To Your Happy Inspiration, HP http://digitalcamera-ideas.blogspot.com |

I think the issue of clear mental image can be explained clearly with the concept of "Truth Versus Appearance".
You are surrounded by different images.,but the one you are holding in your mind is for your heart's desires which will manifest in the future. To me thats the clear mental image |
