Hi Zero, sorry if I came across as cross - that was not my intention. I only wanted to point out that if you're not open to these ideas they'll never work.

You know, I think western religion is consistent with creating a house out of nothing. For instance, God created the Earth out of pure thought energy. God then created us in his image. Because we are created in his image (with less power, obviously) we can create things out of thought.

I sometimes find it inspiring to read the Bible and contemplate the possibility that Jesus spoke literally and not figuratively in relation to the possibilities of faith. I know another poster suggested this with the walking on water example, but what about moving mountains?

Now, I just have to learn to apply it...

I think moving mountains is a matter of perspective. Shift your perspectuve a little and the mountain shifts with you. Maybe the toughest mountain to move is the one inside your mind...

How to move a mountain? Just change the way you think about it.

I live in the Netherlands which is a tiny country in Europe. So I can think that the Rocky Mountains are far away. Or I can play a DVD or browse a website which brings them into my living room. Or hop on a plane. Betcha I would be there sooner than walking to the South border of our very tiny country. It is all relativity.

I am grateful that there are no limits to the power of thought.

Welcome Tony, I thank you for launching this fascinating discussion into existence. Another creation which started from nothing.

Caroline
