Hi Everyone! I had a great weekend! Firstly, I got a letter from my sponser child in Sri Lanka telling me how much she loved getting a letter and a book of stickers from us! My sponser child was my chosen form of tithing and so far its been very rewarding! the next great thing that happened was so sudden it completely took me by suprise! A lot of you are proberly aware Melbourne is hosting the commonwealth games starting on the 15th of this month. I've always wanted to go to Melbourne and to a commonwealth or olympic games to watch the gymnastics. I put in for tickets last April and missed out on gymnastics ones because it was a ballot. When I missed out on the first lot I put in for a different gymnastics event but missed out on that too. I was disappointed but decided it didn't matter too much as I still got tickets to some other events and I was still fullfilling a desire to go to Melbourne. Well yesterday with 9 days to go till we fly down to Melbourne, I saw an article in the paper about a new round of tickets for high profile sports going on sale, including gymnastics!! Needless to say I got straight on the phone and booked two tickets to the women's all round finals!! Not only is it the original event that I wanted to go and see, its better seats than what I had originally put in for! My partner had a good laugh at me dancing around the house with excitment! My trip to Melbourne is now complete and its pretty hard for anything to bring me down! Last night we discovered it looks like termites have gotten into parts of our house and insurance doesn't cover for termite damage. All I could think was, "well, if the universe got me my gymnastics tickets, than they'll fix this too." My partner did get depressed at it, I told him he had to be positive because it just wouldn't work out any other way. And who knows, maybe it'll be the excuse we need to do the bathroom renovations we've been talking about!
Getting my tickets has really reinforced to me how much you have to stop yourself getting disppointed when you seem not to get something you want.

Heres to all the teams competing at the commonwealth games!

Thanx Sharon to proof to me one more time that this material works. I know that already ofcourse but am delighted to hear other peoples experiences!
Congratulations, and have a merry Wink time at the games. An yes, this termites-thing, well I am convinced it will work out just the way you imagine it. Still it is amazing that the things you focus on will manifest, where is the school that teaches such things?
Oh yeah right we together are making a good start. Boy, am I proud of us!

Have a wonderful day,

with sunshine,
ROOS

Well, we've got a guy coming over next week to do an inspection on the house, so far its a bit cheaper than I was expecting so I'm happy! I know we'll get the money to fix this! thanks for all your support! Its also motivated my partner to finally do something about setting up his own business cos he's been talking about doing it for ages and today he's started! I also got a phone call today for a job that initally I wasn't really interested in, but they said their very interested in me so I'm going along to check it out!

Woohoo!!

Thanks for sharing! Your enthusiasm is contagious! Smile

I can so imagine your desire to go to such an event and gymnastics is one of my favorites as well. I'm sure you're going to have big fun!

Oh, and termites are known to be allergic to good, solid SOGR thinking Wink

Shannon,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting such a fabulous success story! Like ROOS, hearing others' successes really gets my energy going to focus that much more on my CMI with the faith that it's already here just waiting for me to open the door and let it in! I can hear it knocking now!

I wish you a fabulous time at the games. I really like gymnastics as well. It's such a beautiful yet powerful sport. Kind of like us! Beautiful and powerful!

All the best,
Dawn
