I think my journey have begun strangely with this book. I started to practice certain action towards positive and meaningful thinking and the reaction was mixed.

I had trouble with my job at the time, I was officially the worst sales executive in the company I worked for, and one day I stood up out of bed, said today my life will change for the better and I will become the best sales person in the business where I worked, I got laid off that very same day.

I was unemployed, have a wife and a 2 and a half year daughter, with a loan 3 months old from the bank.I was about R100 000 (about $14300)in debt with a pay before I got laid off of R7500 ($1000).

And here comes the fun part, for 2 months unemployed,I prayed daily for a job, used my faith and all, but nothing came to existance. I, reading the bible started to meditate on the Hebrews 11:1 verse
quote:
Now Faith is the substance of what we hope for, the evidence of what we don't see...
... and I got hold of the Secret and SOGR. And these books teached me more about faith in 2 days then Pastors and churches could teach me in 20 years.

Result, got employed 3 months ago, and by some maricle (I thank my God and Creator) I have R50000 ($7150) of debt written off, and I am going strong, I am healthy, I am hungry for success, I discovered what faith is, and without it it is impossible to please God, and it is impossible to live a fulfilling life in my maraige, my fatherhood, my job and my future career as an investor.

Life is good!!!

Excellent!!

I hope you keep us posted of your progress.

Something I’d like to know is, did you change? In other words, did you not have faith before? And then, did you have faith? And, do you attribute your successes to your new faith? And if so, how did you get that faith?

May You & Yours continue to be blessed,

Phil

Hi Phil,

I guess I did have a measure of faith and success in the past, but to be disciplined in it is another ball game. I believe I was guided now too not be lazy when it comes to my positivity, thoughts, meditation and lifestyle, because really for me the change was also hugely around my body language and controlling what come out of my lips. Wrong words kill, ill-discipline kills.

I think even Paul in the bible got it right when he encourage us the we must constantly renew our minds, and for me that is to stop when a negative or fearful thought comes into mind, and replacing it with a good thought on which I will meditate, get excited about and then let my body language show that I am alive and loving it.

Greetings Wik, welcome to these forums!

Thank you for sharing your story with us! I have found that SOGR is the easiest and most direct method to riches that I had found! If you haven't yet I also would advise signing up for the course! The course really crystalized the principles for me!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

Just think what a wonderful blessing it was to have been laid off in your original job now! Out with the old, in with the new. Wonderful story, thanks for sharing.

So here I post again.

Since the last time I posted my salary have never dropped below what I wanted it to be, even while I am working in a commission only enviroment.

And here is a lovely example.

I wanted to get a Honda Accord 2.4 Automatic for myself. So for the past 2 months I daily looked at reviews, sales etc on Honda Accord 2.4 Executive Automatic. Even went to test drive it. I have a Honda Civic 1995 model which I was happy with. Couple of days ago it was stolen (uninsured), 3 days later bank approves vehicle finance to me on a Honda Accord 2.4 Executive Automatic, and five minutes after signing the contract the police calls me with news that they got my old car back. Now I have 2 cars with one being the car of my dreams.

I am in awe of all the wonderful things that happened since I started with SOGR and biblical faith studies.

So my next attempt will be to excellerate my live into the next level, next level of income, next level of emotional, physical and spiritual freedom. My wife have never been more happy in her live, our marraige have been such a lovely experience lately.

I sent my daughter to a new school where she is getting some of the best education.

But increase is coming, and within the next six months I will post the wonderful things happening.

I like how you took action after knowing what you wanted. You didnt just sit back and let things happen you took action that helped what you wanted to come about. Important in my opinion.
