hi all..
I would like to know the ways that everyone here creates a CMI. Do you write it down? make a list?
create a scrap book of images?
What helps you to focus on your CMI?
How indepth is it? Are there time frames as to when it needs to happen by?

be well

Have you done the course? That will take you through in detail how to create your CMI. I had a little trouble in creating mine until I did the course. I've always done picture boards though. I read in a magazine years ago a story of a woman who made a picture board after a gypsy woman told her that if she did one everything on it would become true in 6 months time! Everything this woman did put on her picture board did arrive by the time six months was up but I haven't put a time limit on mine. But remember its not the pictures that is important, its the feeling you get from looking at them!

I'm just starting the LifeLab 10 on your clear mental image. But up til now I have a dream board of what I want and lately I've been actually seeing myself "as if" it drives people at work crazy because everytime they see me I'm smiling to myself and they don't know why. Here's something that may help. There's a movie you can download that stemed from the science of getting rich. go to www.whatisthesecret.tv. This young lady read the book and from that book this movie came about, It is definitely a must see and will help you on creating your clear mental image.

Hi, Matahari.

I write everything in a notebook, as detailed as I can, AND I make a collage of magazine pictures, AND I visualize at least some aspect of my CMI several times a day, just whenever I have a minute here or a minute there. It's in the back of my mind at all times. I speak it aloud when I'm in the car.

The course is really helpful!

Matahari:
You could start by "daydreaming". Suppose someone gave you more money than you could possibly spend and you had one day to spend it, what would you buy? Write as many things as you can think of, no matter how "ridiculous" (after all this is for fun, right). From that lenghty list, look closer at some of the things you wrote down. Are there things on that list that perhaps you really would like to have? This might give you a starting point. Best wishes to you and all that you may know your CMI and receive it!

Maybe I'm too new to the course but I am not sure what a CMI is maybe for new people like if abbrevations are going to be used maybe put the full name in brackets so we know what is being talked about.

Hi John

A CMI is your Clear Mental Image i.e the clear visualisation/picture of what you would like your life to represent/be.
Hope this helps Smile

I used a Free 3d graphics package called Sketch Up from Google to design the layout of my ideal home - its fairly easy to use. I look at the design regularly and add to it, like jacuzi bathtub, leather recliner sofa, HD television and so on. If you want a particular car then collect pictures of the colour and model you want, go and test drive one even - so you don't just visualise it but really physically feel what its like to drive it!

I think that the best way to create your CMI is anyway that lights you up and gets you excited. For some it is collaging images, others prefer writing it down, and for others imagining and daydreaming to start and contiuning to allow feelings of joy and excitment about those thoughts continue to increase. There really is no right way and perhaps playing around with a way that works for you and you find to be the most effective is the way to start.

The most important thing is that you bring passion and excitment to whatever it is you are doing to create your CMI. I think another good suggestion is to test drive out your visions. I live in a historic neighborhood and always thought I wanted a brownstone which lines many of the streets where I live. I had never spent much time in many of these brownstones and wouldn't you know it, the universe quickly brought me many opportunities to peek inside as I started to get clients who actually lived in them. The thing I realized quickly was that I didn't actually want to live in a brownstone as badly as I thought after spending much time in them. It's always great to be able to test drive your CMI when you have the opportunity to do so it greatly helps!

Best to you,
Bridgette
