Hi People,

I'm back! I haven't posted on here for a while because I've been busy moving countries Big Grin Notice my new location?

My life has changed completely since I first read SOGR over a year ago. As soon as I read it, I knew that I had discovered the truth about what this life is all about. I already knew from other books that our thoughts become our reality and we therefore had to choose the positive ones over the negative ones, however, it was not until reading SOGR that I realised that it was fine for us to want and to receive exactly what we wanted from this life. As a child, I had been brought up to believe that rich people were going straight to hell and here was Wally saying that God actually wants us to have abundance in our lives.

I was not happy living my life in Scotland and had always wanted to come here to live in the US, but up until that point, it had been an impossible dream. The only way I could get in was to invest a lot of money in a business and I never thought that would be possible.

Well ... after many months of living my life in the certain way and visualizing the outcome, I did manage to raise the capitol and I am now seeing it all happen in front of my eyes. I couldn't have picked a nicer place to live; the area is lovely, affluent, very scenic and the people are all very nice and friendly. At the business I have bought, the staff are all just great and I have discovered that we are all like-minded; we even read the same books! Eek One of them even said to me 'see, your positive thoughts brought you here to us' and we all agree that I have came here for a purpose. There have been so many coincidences and so many signs. I continuously thank God for these indications that it is all going according to plan.

I literally got up and left Scotland with as much as I could squeeze into a few holdalls and left everything behind. I left my job, my home, my friends & family and have came over here to a new house, new business, new life. I won't say that this has all been plain-sailing. In fact, there was one point recently when I thought I was going to fall apart, but I realised (again) that things were a whole lot simpler when I managed to calm down. Roll Eyes You just have to get it into your head that everything will work out and exactly as it should; everything is happening for a reason and when things are going a little crazy, just remember that this is a sure sign that your life is being rearranged for your visualizations to manifest themselves.

I am by no means rich .. yet! Big Grin But somehow the money has always turned up when I've needed it. I don't think it's so much about the money, but living the life that you want to lead and having enough to do whatever it is that you want to do. The most important thing is to persevere, have faith and be assured that it will happen for you.

Angeleyes,
You are inspiration personified! I like what you said about when things get crazy just remember that this is a sure sign that your life is being rearranged for your visualizations to manifest themselves. How true this is! Maybe we should add, "be careful what you ask for?" ha!

Welcome to the States. My thoughts are for you to host a beautiful life!

Hi,

Thanx for your replies!

There's one important point that I should have mentioned and have just been reminded from another post ...

I told people only the basics of what I was up to i.e. leaving my job, buying the business, moving to the US, but didn't go into any great details and especially not what appeared to be the difficulties. Some people can be very negative and especially when you are going through the scary bits, they are not good at all to have around. Confused I would listen to those who praised and encouraged, but when people tried to feed me negativity or asked what I was going to do if it didn't work out, I would just tell myself, that "no, plan A is definitely going to work, there is no plan B."

I read a good motivational poster shortly after I arrived here, which read "a ship in the harbor is safe, but ships weren't built to stay in the harbor". That could apply to us all as we set sail on our new lives Big Grin We just have to learn to let go and trust that everything is going to turn out just great!

Hi Angeleye

What a wonderful story -good luck with your new business.

I missed you as you were the only other Scottish location I saw on the forum. Two weeks ago, I got tickets to an Angel workshop in Glasgow and I was going to send you a private message to see if you were going. When I looked you your details I saw your location had changed!! I then began to imagine that you had Glasgow previously!!

Look forward to hearing more stories of your success.

With love and light

Hi AngelEyes

As you know I am a HUGE fan of your inspirational messages, and it's just so good to see how everything has worked out so well for you. I saved most of your messgaes under 'My favourites', and while you have been busy moving to the USA, I have kept reading them to remind myself how powerful SOGR can be. Was it really only a year that you've been using SOGR? Is that all it took?
I am reading your new location, and it's incredible to see how far you've come. Keep on going AngelEyes. You are an absolute inspiration to us all.
Hugs

I read the book around Christmas time and signed up for the course in January 2005. Although it took ten months to raise the cash, I can say that I started to see changes in my life immediately. I moved here at the beginning of April, so just 15 months! Big Grin I still don't have the whole of my CMI (yet) but I used to visualize a day in my new life and that's happening already Big Grin Keep on going everyone because this sooooo works!!

First of all I must say Thank you so much for your great inspiring story. Wally would be proud of you. We are all proud of you. Thank goodness for the internet, the distance makes no difference to your ability to tell us all the good news.

I'm so excited delighted for you I don't know what to say. So I'll just say well done. Keep us posted.

Love and success to all.

Hi Angeleyes

The workshop was with Doreen Virtuen and Gordon Smith at the Concert Hall but I met a lady who had been to an angel workshop in Partick.

I think it's wonderful that you're CMI has manifested itself. Congratulations.

Hi, Angel Eyes

Congratulations! Isn't it wonderful what can happen in one short year? I have been on this forum and have taken the PG course and I, too have made significant changes in my life over the past year. Like you, I have just bought a business, but am by no means rich (yet!) but it's the lifestyle and loving what you do every day that counts. Now I look forward to leaping from my bed every day because I can hardly wait for the wonderful day that lies ahead.

Cheers!

This is wonderful, AngelEyes. Thanks for letting us all know. Big Grin

Hey, Debbie, you wrote: "I have just bought a business, but am by no means rich (yet!)" and I'm wondering: Why would you say that? Go ahead and start feeling rich NOW. That's the key! Wink

AngelEyes,

Welcome to the U.S.!!! And congratulations on your business. I am sure that you will be a big success.

I am in the process of purchasing a business also. I agree that there are bumps in the road, but I am keeping focused on my CMI. I will allow NO negative thoughts to take up residence in my mind. It WILL happen and I WILL be very successful.

Maybe sometime we can get together and celebrate!
