Chapter 8 I finally get it

Warning this post may be a little long but Chapter 8 came through so clear today!

Hi all,

As some of you may know I had a different thread about that I needed immediate attention to my SOGR study. Well since that post I have sat down and read and I am “getting it” better or “re-getting it.”

What I mean by that is the information from the book is really starting to click and I am a lot more aware and in tune. Right now this morning I read Chapter 8 Thinking in the “Certain Way”

While I have it and read that we can make our Clear Mental Image requests orally is I recorded myself orally re-explaining it all to myself and infinite intelligence.

The passion, feeling, rightness, and gratitude I experienced during this study period of Chapter 8 was incredible.

In my appearance everything is covered financially until the beginning of March more will come in but what we see will not be enough going into the future without tapping into the “kitty”. There it is again an important SOGR principle “Our Truth vs. Appearance”

Trust me I do not want to minimize the above statement but I think if anything we have learned from Mr. Wattles is that we need to keep only the good thoughts in our head.

See we know our truth, and Chapter 8 hit me on the head this morning with a 16 pound sledgehammer.

Right now I have my Clear Mental Image however and I realized I have not spent as much of my leisure time as I should be on it.

I am rushing and hurrying to just find anything that will satisfy appearances for income, what I am doing is not realizing and being grateful for what has unfolded. In appearance in Oct 2005 things seem to fall apart and took me to places I was not sure of, however I made more money than I had ever made on a weekly basis and then on Jan 9 that supply was cut. What I need to be grateful for is that “it” was building my mental image of exactly what I want to do.

I mean “we do not have to do what we do not want to do” in this life. My Clear Mental image is not selfishness. See I want more control of my destiny and offering to the world as I want to be more available for a volunteer opportunity in my village. In turn what I like to do in my business will also marshal the freedom and finances to start the help center I always wanted.

So my vision is in no way selfish. I say this because we need to get to “Our Truth”

We are given desire just like the boy who wants to get the music out at the piano
If the desire is strong enough, it will be with you constantly. Again though you need to be clear in your mental image to the formless substance.

Thinking a “Certain Way” is here for me now the building blocks to my ultimate Clear Mental Image, is happening right now and I need to be more grateful.

I have been more available for the volunteer duty, I have been with my family more…yes there is an anxiety from my wife based on appearances and there I things that I need to do in looking for the conventional to abide by her appearance. This is the hard part of what we do.

However she has realized that things that we needed at the time during all of this have all been met, granted it is not the way we like to do it, because there was worry and not the control that we like to have.

I admit I do not want to continue to live my life like this, but the bottom line is all “emergencies” are somehow met and solved.

I am starting to live my Clear Mental Image and it is sinking in, that what I have the Desire to do I need to be seeing it and feeling grateful that it is here now as it is my “Truth” and I should not cut myself off for the supply my purpose is good and unshakable now.

And My Faith is becoming un-wavered, it all makes perfect sense though and it has re-hit be like a ton of bricks. I have been working on this since Nov 2004 when I first found the book and there has been a lot of change in my life. In May of 2005 I wrote my Clear Mental Image and I still carry it. Sure throughout 2005 I held it in my mind but it and SOGR were there but not a main focus. I am not sure how else to explain it. But it is with gratitude and feeling that helps get to the source of infinite intelligence. This is the power you need to realize that maybe you are hurrying too much when you should not be. That maybe you are worrying to much about the potential problems that are on the potential horizon.

Thinking and acting in a “Certain Way” today seems so easy, though as we may all know it is not always. We need to get out of our own way.

Congratulations on renewing your spirit of gratitude. Smile

Steve,

Congratulations on your clarity and your commitment.

Keep working on the belief around your CMI. Count every effort as a success.

Good luck to you

Hi Eileen,

I was not sure if you were asking me what blog means or about my website.

Blog means - Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or the Web site.

My website Warrior Dad was an inspiration one night, quite awhile ago. It will be a resource for Dads with some of the beliefs I follow. I just changed the format of it so it is still a work in progress. I addition it is part of my overall CMI that I was rushing with instead of knowing that I have the time to create. That is the way I am working it now.

It is amazing since I have not been trying to hurry the process as much and really getting getting back into SOGR the mind of mine is really opening up more than I have ever seen before. I actually enjoy thinking and visualizing now.

Meaning that when I am tried from the work I actually relax by thinking rather than watch TV

Hello Steve17,
Your Post is a graet one and I would like to add the following:
In chapter 8 it says "The answer to your prayer is not according to your faith while you are talking , but according to yoiur faith while you are working(action).
Oral prayer is well enough, and has its effect, especially upon yourself, in clarifying your vision and strengthening your faith, but it is not your oral petitions which get you what you want. In order to get rich you do not need a "sweet hour of prayer" you need to pray without ceasing.
As you know that while working leave the details of your desire when at leisure.
When you have formed it, it is well to make an oral statement, addressing the supreme in gratitude. Then from that moment on you must , in your mind, receive what you ask for.

I think praying all day and keeping the focus on his will is really the key. It has helped me tremendously not to hurry and to do everything well, not that I should be getting to such and such.

So yes I agree and this is what I found and why I follow it. Though the appearance is that things have not been good in others eyes, my truth is I am living my CMI and I have no emergencies yet. Any changes I am making in my life are changes I probably should have done anyway!

Think about that character is when all challenges are in front of a person not good times. Anyone can have good character when times are good. How are when you are not keeping up with the Joneses?
