I have just realised that I have a new universe open to me and yet I have no Idea what to picture, because I do not know what it is that I really want. There are so many things, I would like to have but is my want for them strong enough to get them. I would love to picture something but at this time I come up with different things every day.

Fictional,
You desire whatever you choose to desire. You are not restricted you whatever it is you desire. Put energy, feeling, and envision what you desire, whatever it is you want. I cannot tell you what you desire for only you know that. Do you want a new house? Envision it! It's as simple as that for whatever it is you desire. Glad to have you on the forum my friend. --Robb "Do what you want/And how you want it/Feel it's right, go out and do it/Think for yourself/And think for the best/Or you'll go down just like the rest" - Cro-Mags |

Fictional,
What you desire is: to know what you desire. Focus on having this knowledge. Picture yourself as confidently knowing exactly what you want.See yourself as a person with a goal - make that your constant vision. Once that picture is a part of your self-image, the goal itself will one day simply be there. One useful exercise is to examine all of the "things" you would like to have and analyse why you want them. Many of those desires may not come from the heart, but rather may be things you have always been told you "should" want. Ditching anything in this category is the first (and, in fact, the easiest) step in finding your true desires. Remember, the first step to finding is looking. The fact that you are looking for your true desire means that you are on the way to 1. discovering what it is 2. achieving it (and 3. going on to achieving even greater things after that! Peace and joy to you. Polly. You are not mentally developed by what you read, but by what you think about what you read - Wallace D. Wattles |

Fictional----don't know if this fits, but I found myself in a stage of life where negative thinking did not allow me to visualize anything with desire...having been so successful in so many ways and finding that those successes did not bring me the joy I was seeking, I cast a dark shadow on all possibilities....and trust me those dark shadows robbed me of all that I had except love of friends and family and yet God insured my basic "maslow hiearchy" of needs were met...
It was only after I began to see the negativity I was placing on everything that I realized that was the root of my problem...here are a few things I did.. -learned to heal my body from within( may not set well but everyone has this power) -learned about "chakras" and their uses -much work to re-create my ego -faith in my God, energy, universe and just as important myself.. These things may not apply to you but it was what I thought of when you indicated a struggle to find something you desire.. Happy thoughts----John quote: |
