In my nearly 2 months of being involved in TSOGR, I feel very humble and grateful, in saying, that I feel as though I have gone through a rebirth, while striving to live my life in “the certain way.”

A rebirth of who I have been; who I am; and who I want to be!

It has not been an easy path at times, to realize, understand and accept that what has been done; is done; and cannot be un-done. Finally, I have “the serenity to accept the people/things I cannot change”, the hurts, losses, guilt and the disappointments.

Finally, I am learning to be at peace with myself: and with everyone and everybody, no matter whom they are or where they are.

I had thought that I was poor; poverty stricken; hard done by; and doomed to stay that way for the rest of my life. Alas, when I reconsidered; I own my own home (run down as it is), own my own car (not road legal, needs repairs), have a minimal income, can drink fresh spring water from the tap every day, have acres of native bush on 3 sides of me, a beautiful lake at my front door teeming with trout and no major outgoings, debts or liabilities; I am not poor.

I am not rich, and I can be a lot better off, but I am not poor. There are just so many in this world, with far, far less than what I have.

I have let go of that “appearance”, of what I thought was poor, poverty stricken and hard done by, and I have found instead the seed of goodness that has always been there, but hidden beneath the appearances.

I am now at peace with what I have in my life.

Yes, I am happy!

I am happy because I no longer carry the burdens, of the things I could not change, and I am no longer fooled by the appearances of what I once thought.

I am happy, because I am at peace!

No!!! I am not at peace because I am happy, I am happy because I am at peace!!!

I am also happy because in being at peace, with no burdens and false appearances, I feel more and more that I am becoming one with my true self and opening myself up to my desires!

Lastly, I am happy, because in being at peace, I feel and believe that I really can “begin to live in harmony with the laws governing the universe”.

Be at Peace…..first!!!

Remembering that there is a difference between being poor and being broke can make it easier to be at peace with money. I always feel better when I let things flow and get more done. : )
