Hi all. I joined the Practical Genius course and, thanks Rebecca, it makes things MUCH clearer. But, I have a natural urge to break EVERYTHING down into easy bites. Statements, if you like. Because of this, before I go into real detail on the learning process, I need to know some basics please! The way I understand it is this: 1. Form a clear mental image. 2. Live as if the image has already happened. 3. Be grateful for what you have asked for, and indeed for everything else, as it's contributed to where we are now. 4. Do your everyday tasks as if you have achieved your CMI with faith and determination. 5. Expect the best. That's it. I know this is over-simplifying the principles, but is that basically it? By practising (spelling?) the above, I seem to achieve results quickly, but at the same time, when my mind wanders the results stop coming forth. This is really hard! One day I can be on track, and the next I seem so busy that I forget to 'follow the rules' !! Anyway, I'm waffling on. I just need to know if I'm basically on the right track. Thanks you. Craig

It takes time to shift your thinking to the point that it is second nature. Imagine how long you have been thinking the old way and also imagine if tomorrow you started to learn how to play the cello (assuming that you don't already.) You certainly wouldn't expect to be Yo Yo Ma in 24 hours either. Changing your thinking is like strengthening any type of muscle it takes a little time so be easy on yourself and trust that in no time this new way of thinking will feel like second nature. You are on the right track because you notice that when your thinking is aligned things work like magic! Keep going! Warmly, Bridgette Best to you, Bridgette Thoughts create things...choose wisely.

Thank you Bridgette. It's great to be able to talk to people who have been through those same initial steps. At least I know I'm headed the right way! Craig

Craig you pretty much have it. I would add, avoid any defaming talk of your affairs past or present. When you speak throughout the day make sure your words add more life to others, even when paying a bill. here's to success, Richard

I tend to over-analyze everything, so I love the way you broke it down into easy steps. In fact, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to stick it to my computer with the other inspiration cards as a reminder to just keep it simple. Enjoy the course and know that you are in for some really great things! Kim

Craig: Every morning, I read My Clear Mental Image with sound, taste, color, texture, emotion as a done deal, Write on my Gratitutde Journal, 3 things,and/or persons I am grateful/thankful for and why specifically I made a sheet that is titled Big Rocks First and had 90 copies made (3 months worth) I take one out every day. It has Priorities***. 1. *CMI 2. **Gratitude Journal 3. ***Most challenging tasks First I then go walk on the beach and on the walking trail with my dog or go to the gym then I return to my home office and tackle the worst things First-For example telephone calls rejecting an offer, ordering repairs for one of my rentals, whatever that seems more challenging that would be put off , I do FIRST! This SOGR discipline has been very beneficial in all aspects of my life. The momennt a thought comes to mind that is not making me feel good, I ask is this thought empowering me? , supporting my millionaire status? is this thought edifying? IF NOT I visualize a door and I slam the door on that thought that is not serving to move me up-if it is not pushing me up it is pulling me down-I do not want that thought!LIFE is so simple and so full of abundance you need to FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT WILL HELP YOU MOVE FORWARD AND Those THINGS WILL BECOME MORE VISIBLE, MORE FREQUENTLY AND GET BIGGER AND BETTER-I thank God for my challenges and blessings and for SOGR!
