As I've been working through creating my business plan and starting my business, and as I've dealt with a change in jobs recently, I've gotten totally stuck a few times. Started doubting the whole idea, or felt terrified of doing the wrong thing.

Each time, I have happily been smart enough to abide by SOGR, and simply sat down outdoors or even laid down on the couch as if for a nap and gone back to thinking about my CMI. Forget the whole issue at hand -- dismiss the details I've gotten bogged down in -- focus back to the overall big picture capital-D Desire.

Every time, within minutes, a clear and compelling answer has simply arisen in my mind like a gift from the universe.

And I've jumped up and gone back into action with a light heart Smile

It works Big Grin

I am reminding myself to do this every time I have a question, not just when I hit a major stuck point Smile

Thanks for reading Smile

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Thanks for the story and the encouragement.

I'm so chillin' like a villian on penicillin right now.

And caffeine.

BTW, my wife will be in Houston this next week so say hi to women and it might be her.

I need to get some clarification on this CMI issue. I have been in the UK for about 8 months now, separated from my wife and kids due to work reasons. I want them to come over at the end of this month but am struggling for cash to make it happen, now I am thinking hard on what I want but I am just struggling a bit with the whole CMI issue, it is so easy to lose sight of what you want in your mind's eye on a day to day basis as constantly thinking and wanting it is hard work, harder than actually doing manual labour I have found.

If anybody has any suggestions or advice, I am all ears. Thanks for listening.

Hi UK_TURNER,

I used to have same idea.

Then I found out I was concentrating on the LACK of wanted things and putting a lot of focus on unwanted things.

You can tell that you are doing this by the bad feeling you have when you think you are thinking of what you want (but instead are focusing on the lack of it).

When I took the time to find out what it was that I really wanted, I became so excited by the idea, that it wasn't hard to think about it at all. And way more FUN as well! Smile

So, my suggestion - if I may be so bold - would be to find out what it is that you really want, picture that in your mind (forget about the 'buts' and the 'hows' for now) and enjoy that ideal situation in your mind.

Sooner or later you wil get inspiration on what action to take as well.

Have FUN! Big Grin

Thanks Skyling, I'm going through similar at the moment.

I've noticed that writing the issues down seems to help, that way I get them out of me and then just going and doing some activity which requires some effortless concentration such as cutting the grass or driving or something helps. I seem to work through the issues whilst doing this and get back to focusing on what I want instead of lack.

Your way sounds good though, I think I'll print it off and stick it right next to the computer. And I'll print it in colour too so that your avatar can act as an instant reminder. Sweet avatar BTW.

Love it, it reminds me of when the farmer found me sat under his tree. He asked me if I was on medication or something. It kind of disturbed me at the time and I had to find somewhere else to sit, but after a little while I thought "Yes, I suppose I am". It's called communing with nature.

Thanks for Writing,

Peace

Adrian
