I’ve struggled, with a lot of you, with the action part. I often had the idea I had to do more than necessary.
Rebecca keeps reminding us that physical action is the last and least important part and that its FUN! That’s why I opened this thread to give each other inspiration what important actions we can do now, and I hope you will help me to complete this list.

Know what you want and desire, develope your CMI and bring it to life

Continue to live with it daily!

Find your lifepurpose, the reason you are on this earth.

Be good to yourself by living life passionately and expecting success.

Keep your Focus faith and feeling.

Manage your feeling and mood bu managing your thoughts.

Live your life in gratitude.

Visualize your CMI, including your
• seeing
• touching
• feeling
• moving
• hearing
• smelling
• tasting
• emotions
• thougts
• intuiting

Use effective affirmations.

Create a daily dialog with yourself and talk with yourself about your CMI and all your daily successes.

Celebrate all your experiences.

Relax and just enjoy the ride and the experience.

Make your own vision/dream board.

Do what you love to do and feel good.

Believe that you have the power to control your own thoughts, feelings and actions.

Use your leisure time to contemplate your CMI.

Just do the best with what you've got and make the most of what you've got and be grateful.

Keep your vision of what you want.

Think about what you want and desire.

Think why you want it and feel happy now that you can even think about any of this.

Keep re-reading the book.

I must admit that the action part is still a major hurdle for me. I know that a large part of this is because it is easy to see the results of physical action as opposed to mental action, which doesn't feel like action.

Your list gave me new insight. Clearly there's a lot of mental action to be taken, and much of it I really need to explore. I remember recently I spent a few days pouring over everything I did a few months ago trying to figure out what could possibly be responsible for me making so much money. It has been difficult because my physical actions had no relation to my business, at least that I could see. That is to say, my customers, or potential customers, had no idea what I was doing, and it had no effect on them, as I was acting in a place far away, on a completely unrelated subject, rather than emailing folks, posting in forums, marketing or doing anything else.

Your list makes me think twice about my current actions, as opposed to spending more time on my vision. I know I need to find that balance.

Thanks Yeddah, for posting this. It helps to remember how important our thoughts and feelings are.

Teruchan, I have noticed myself focusing on action a lot. I used to have the belief that good things only come to those who work hard and sacrifice. I used to get myself so stressed out that my actions became less and less effective as I felt worse and worse.

I was really happy the first time I read one of Rebecca's posts in which she said that success should be FUN and EASY. And I, too have seen that results are often NOT related to the physical action, but they ARE related to the mental and emotional processes. So I love, love, love it that my JOB is now to feel good in any way I can and to delight in all the great things I that are constantly coming to me.

I recently noticed that I'm still reluctant to give myself permission to go on vacation. There always seems to be some "reason" why I can't or shouldn't go. I have accepted that I like to work, I like to be productive, and that I like to accomplish things. However, up to now, I've had this hidden belief that I haven't yet worked hard enough, or accomplished enough to deserve a vacation.

Thank goodness for my husband who always finds a way to get me wonderful things, even when I don't think that I need or deserve them. (Yesterday he got me the new iPhone 4!!!!)

Anyway, things work out wonderfully when I allow them to happen rather than trying to make them happen.

Love and Blessings!

Rachel

Here's one to add,

If we can't shake off the fear no matter how much we visualize, contemplate, go within, make lists, write in journals, etc., there are times that it is appropriate to take action.

You know, feel the fear and do it anyways. We are human and there are times that the feelings of fear, discomfort, nervousness, etc., are much stronger than all the feel good stuff. It feels like we can't shake it off.

Sometimes, in the doing, we discover that there was nothing to fear.

Appreciation from the Heart,

Oh, Richard, you are so right!

That's one reason why exercise is so good for us. Among all the other benefits, it also gives us the feeling of effort and accomplishment that we crave. You can get it by doing other things, too of course. Action is a great way to overcome fear. Try it for sure!

Just remember that the action isn't what brings results. The focus, faith and feelings (in line with our CMI) bring the results, action is the way we enjoy the results. Sometimes we don't quite believe that at first, but that's okay.

Do whatever you have to do to feel better. If action helps, then do it!

Love and blessings,
Rachel

I have learnt to let things percolate in my mind - sometimes a little unsettling but for me ideas and pictures can take time to form. If I act too soon I don't get the full benefit of this process. I think it's a bit like sleeping on a problem - you can often dream the solution or wake up with the thought in your head, without you having to consciously work on it.

cheers

Yes Tom,

I certainly do! There is nothing so satisfying as acting on something that you just know you have to - in a happy way.

Like when I went to Bali. I had been thinking about it for a while and doing some internet research, then suddenly everything fell into place - the right hotel with woodcarving classes, enough frequent flyer points, a gap in my schedule, resolution with the debt collectors... and many other things.

This type of action does not take effort - and it was definitely the right thing to do ... I came back happy and rejuvenated.

cheers
Pauline
