I don't get the opportunity to come here often..and I am still trying this deal..not sure it is working at all....but I still try.

In any case, I don't want to be around such Negative energy. (People squabbling) It always seems to be the same few. And from what I read, it seems to be the Way a sentence is put.

Re: that's your belief and I don't want it." Well, nanny, nanny ,boo-boo. Smile
It would have been better put(IMHO) "and I just believe differently..." There seems to be a lot of adversarial comments and/or discussions.

This cannot Possibly Help any of us, or those who might be new.

So Play nice ! Wink Wink

Amazing44,

Hello to you my friend. It appears to me as if you do not have the faith you would like would like yet. That relies upon your belief and youe belief only Brandy. As for people in this forum "squabbling," well that is up to you in which way you want to view it. In my world I love conflict, as it's peaceful, it can bring about change, and it shows the diveristy of people. We are all free to believe as we desire, if you you see people here at the forum as "squabbling," well that that is what you shall get. Keep it up my friend, I know you can receive what you desire. Smile

Well, y'all, I think Brandy has a point. Mr. Wattles says NOT to get into arguments on the matter and I've lately noticed a small number of participants who seem to want to have the last word in any discussion.

So I'd like to see that recent development just go away as it IS argumentative (no matter what you call it) and it doesn't further a discussion or add to understanding in any way.

It would be good, also, to stay on-topic here. If the subject of your post isn't related to SOGR, then these forums are likely not the place for it. There are many discussion boards on the internet so it's relatively easy to find one that's EXACTLY tuned to just about any topic. Here, though, we're talking about the Universal Laws of Prosperity as introduced in SOGR.

Of course there are differences of opinion; that's fine, and those differences have been expressed here for more than five years in a way that is useful and uplifting. That's priceless

AND it's also true that this forum is for the SUPPORT of those who are choosing to follow the certain way. So if you disagree with Mr. Wattles, then this likely isn't the appropriate forum for you. It's really that simple. If you are committed to (or even just beginning your exploration of) the certain way, then jump right in and have fun!

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

It seems to me that a big part of this is reacting.

I have adopted the practice of re-reading any challenging post to make sure I have fully understood it. There could be many reasons why we don't like it.

For example, many participants have english as a second or third language. Their post may be meant in good faith but it reads very abrupt to native-english speakers. Having said that some people are just abrupt, thats the way they are.

So I also like to adopt the attitude that the post was created in good faith and I will respond in good faith. If after 2 or 3 reads I still cannot understand it in that context then I just wipe it from my mind.

Always look for the best in people and you will find the best, I am re-learning this now.

Blessings and Happy Playing

Adrian

Adrian B,

Yes, my friend that is exactly what I do. When I post here I simply present advice and my point of view that others can use, or not. I am not saying I'm right because self-righteousness get no one anything, at least I believe. I can never get it done (in reference to life), and I can never get it right. I am eternally learning, searching and desiring. Smile

Success to all my friends, and you are all my friends. Smile

Adrian,

Very well said and hit the point, and this is exactly what I have in mind but I couldn't reply it (construct) in good sentences simply because English is my third language! Razz

Adrian B,

I find that true for myself as well. There are times where I think about where I'm at in my life and everything around me reflects what I believe. I see it everywhere, in everything, and with everything I receive. I love it, and I appreciate the Universe for all that is brings to myself, and everyone else! Smile

I understand that the more we read, the more we recei ve the message. The more we are reinforced in our own mind that the book is true. Us "new people" may be new but we are so turned on by what's written, very little can alter the direction that this positive news has propelled us in.

I believe that we are all breaking out of our cocoons of "old habitual thinking" and that we each are at different stages. It's a struggle breaking out of a cocoon. We are sweeping away the old, making room for the new. We are all becoming "butterflies of abundance."

It's a conflict between our egos and our true or higher selves. But there is no better place to resolve this conflict than this forum and the course. I know that for a fact. This is where I come for sharing and for spiritual nourisment. Thank you all for being here, I'm grateful.

Much abundance to all,
TOM
