A while back on another post, Rebecca wrote this: "What works is to think of whatever is desired (a thing, a set of circumstances, an experience, etc.) with delight, rather than getting into that yearning, longing, aching sort of feeling which is a very clear mental image, yes, but it's an image of lack. As Mr. Wattles puts it, "enter at once into the full enjoyment." When we can feel pleasure and delight in our wants that are not yet fulfilled, we can know for sure that that fulfillment is imminent. For me, it has (over the past eight years) become SO simple: JOY is the key. How wonderful!" This quote has taken me to the next level. Can you (Wattlers in general) please share testimonials (ala Sam76 "Actual Results"). I am so grateful for the encouragement and insight I continually recieve from the SOGR forum. The forum seems to make SOGR fresh each time I read it anew. Barefootking

Joy is certainly the key. A couple of weeks ago I started thinking seriously about getting into the stock market. Its always been in the back of my mind but buried under the 'too hard' basket. I'm 'not smart enough, not good at maths, slow learner'. I allowed myself to really think about it and imagine myself as a successful investor and the joy of achieving that. Well lo and behold, the last few weeks I haven't stopped recieving info through the mail, emails, friends, free seminars, books. All the skills I need are being sent to me to insure I achieve this. It brings me more joy which in turn brings so many rewards! Ideas are flowing thick and fast and it all feels so easy and so much fun! Congratulations Shannon on the certain success of following through with your dream of investing. So many of the things we want are pushed to the back of our mind before they even have time to grow aren't they? Joy is definitely both a key ingredient and a blessing on its own. When I signed up for the course on April 20th, I felt guilty spending the money because we were struggling just to pay the bills. Luckily my husband is very supportive and told me to go for it anyway. I used to think of one my dreams - owning a log cabin on water - which would then be followed with the thought "yeah right, we can barely pay the bills we have now". Since starting the course I have been able to change my way of thinking and now I create an image of easily paying my bills and still having enough for some fun things. It's amazing how well it is working. Not only have we been able to pay our bills on time, but I renewed my pet sitting website, paid for 3 annual vet check-ups for my dogs (complete with shots and heartworm pills)and paid for an emergency visit for my guinea pig (he's doing great). ..And it gets even better. My husband and I are big hockey fans. We were finally able to put a downpayment on season tickets and buy play-off tickets - something we could only dream of before. The best part is we were able to do all of these things without using a credit card. Our jobs are still the same - but suddenly they are bringing in more money. Thanks to this course, and Rebecca, I am also pursuing my dream to write again. Now my CMI of a log cabin on the water also includes a picture of me sitting on my deck typing away on my next bestseller! My heart is full of joy and gratitude, and it truly is a wonderful way to live!
