Hi Farkhod.

The majority of SOGR is getting your CLEAR mental image. That paragraph means keep thinking and fine tuning until you get that clear image and it makes sense to you. Then you have to make sure that it is as vivid as you can make it and that is what you keep in your mind as your MAP.
Once you have this map it is great because from then on everything you do seems to take you closer to that vision. Things even start happening that you have never done before but they are all stations on the journey to your vision. Remember success is not a destination it is a journey.
One thing to remember is make sure its a map of where you want to go. Its no earthly good wandering around New York with a map of London and expecting to get any where. Sometimes if you have a destination and set course only 1 degree off by the time you should have arrived you would be miles off target. So that is why you must make it as clear and concise as possible. Get all the little bits you desire and make sure that they make sense to you. As Rebecca says its no use sending someone a message and just sending them a bag of letters and expecting them to work out what you were trying to say.
As our friend Wallace says this is the hardest part.

Thanks for this post!

A 'coherent whole' to me would mean 'understandibly complte'.

Hope this helps?

With gratitude

Hello all

I have been going through my results with SOGR and by chance i come across Croz's explanation of what it means to arrange my desires in a coherent whole. Great one Croz! It really clarifies for me a whole lot.

As it is, I believe that this part requires more attention from me as I feel 2007 is a great year for me and can be even better in 2008 if I can just come to a clearer understanding of CLEAR mental image.

Is it something that make sense and has meaning to you? Do I actually have to see it exactly how it will look like when I get it as Wally says or is it just the meaning, feel and quality of the mental image that really defines the word "clear"? At the moment, I need to digest these new thoughts as I am currently redoing PG course LL11 and it seems that this part needs to be worked on. Chapter 8 is refreshing for me even if I am reading it for the umpteenth time. Smile

It really has been a wonderful year and most of the time spent at this forum has been enriching and hugely informative, and also very fun!

Much blessings to all

Blessings
Kevin

..and get this desire"..

Hi Farkhod

I believe the key word here is DESIRE. What are you desiring to 'feel' about your life? Is it peace, joy, love & abundance? Do you want to wake up every morning excited about the day, knowing whatever you need will come to you easily & abundantly?

Focus your attention on how you want to 'feel' about your life & this will 'clarify' your cmi. Remember to stay out of the 'how' it will happen. Wally says it's not our part to guide or supervise the process. Simply feel the feelings of living your dreams now & as inspirations come to you, ACT!

Farik,

“Your part is to intelligently formulate your desire for the things which make for a larger life and to get these desires arranged into a coherent whole, and then to impress the whole desire upon the formless substance which has the power and the will to bring you what you want.”

The idea is to organize your desires in a meaningful way, instead of just desiring a mish-mash of desirable things. Organizing your desires in such a way creates CLARITY and gives greater meaning and expectancy for the things desired. It allows you to get a better FEEL for what you want. And that is very important.

“Tending to your own thoughts and feelings and letting yourself become the perfect match to your desires brings you joy and peace. And I promise you that your own joy and peace are the keys to everything -- EVERYTHING -- you want, for yourself and others.” - Rebecca Fine

“Things will constantly change to match the feeling you have inside." Abraham-Hicks

There is a fairly easy way to do this. Just imagine living an IDEAL DAY, week, month and year. Put the details in so that your IDEAL is organized and actually livable in your imagination, “a coherent whole” as SOGR puts it.

So, for example, on one ideal day you might wake up in a beautiful home with a certain number of rooms, etc. And then, what’s it like for you to prepare for the day in your ideal bathroom, or eat in your ideal kitchen? Is there a view? What’s the view like? Is anyone with you? Do you have servants?

And then, let’s say in one of your ideal days you are going somewhere. Where are you going? Are you driving? If so, what kind of vehicle? Or, are you being chauffered? Or are you walking or bking?

Does anyone live with you? Who are your friends? What do some of them do? What makes your friends special to you? What is it about them that you appreciate, value, admire? What is it about YOU that THEY appreciate, value and admire?

In your ideal life, how is your health? Do you care about your physical condition and appearance?

Also, in your ideal life, what is your sense of self like? Do you like yourself? What does this mean to you? To others? What is your internal experience of yourself, on a day to day basis? How do you handle difficulties or challenges? How do you ideally spend your days, your weeks, your months? And, what is your internal experience of living your ideal life?

In other words, take some time to not only imagine having things but also arranging them “into a coherent whole”. Imagine LIVING with the things, conditions, circumstance, relationships and wherewithal that you desire.

“In the mental realm, enter at once into full enjoyment of the things you want.” “See the things you want as if they were actually around you all the time. See yourself as owning and using them. Make use of them in your imagination just as you will use them when they are your tangible possession.” Wallace Wattles, in Chapter 8 of the Science of Getting Rich

"What I am most happy about is that I can zero in on a vision of where I want to be in the future. I can see it so clearly in front of me when I daydream that it's almost a reality. Then I get this easy feeling, and I don't have to be uptight to get there because I already feel like I'm there, that it's just a matter of time." Arnold Schwarzenegger

The message and information shared in this forum today,is the healing and blessing I am thankful for receiving. I have never taken the time to think how powerful the word "DESIRE" is. To desire is your gift from GOD that is manifest on earth through you. As I read Coz's message about getting your CLEAR mental image, this lays the foundation for you to build upon. In Farik's message, the idea about organizing your desires to have meaning is such a powerful thought. It makes so much sense to empower your desires with CLARITY, which gives life to the desires of your heart and makes it real in every area of your life.

This message is a valuable tool to remember and use in applying the SOGR principles in our daily lives.... The Power of Desire.Smile
