After thinking and talking for the past two years about doing an Internet Podcast with son, I bought a podcast microphone today.

I did this after reading a post (which, regrettably I cannot find now) from someone who started packing boxes for his new home, even though that new home may still be a ways off.

It resonated with me that taking steps in the direction we are thinking is a genuine act of faith.

Yes it is.
but don't forget: “In the mental realm, enter at once into full enjoyment of the things you want."

Plan you podcast in your mind, see yourself together with your son doing it and having so much fun. And before you know it; an idea will pop up; or you see an opportunity or you'll meet somebody.

Congratz for your first podcast it was amazing Smile

Lots of love

"You cannot foresee the results of even the most trivial act; you do not know the workings of all the forces that have been set moving in your behalf. Much may be depending on your doing some simple act; it may be the very thing which is to open the door of opportunity to very great possibilities." - SOGR, Ch. 12

Yes, I think it is a step of faith...and congrats on taking a small step toward your personal CMI.

I firmly believe that God, the Universe (whatever you choose to call it) created your dream for you the moment you conceived and visualized it and was simply waiting for you to take a step toward it. Now, I am certain your dream will begin moving toward you in miraculous ways.

Fantastic! If you've been talking about it and wanting to do it for 2 years then were motivated to act then it is the right thing to do. I know you will have a lot of fun and who knows where this will lead you.

cheers

Thanks for the encouraging words, and we're so glad you enjoyed the first podcast. We loved making it! Wink

As a side note, a small confirmation if you will, the microphone I purchased sells across the Internet for $99, but when I went to buy it (at a very well-known online retailer) it was only $75. I was all set to pay the higher price. Sometimes it's the little things...

Got the microphone last night. Arrived in a few days, just as promised.

I hooked everything up this morning and it works and sounds great, way beyond my expectations.

This afternoon I'm going to do my first "practice" podcast.

Wish me well. Cool

Little? Only if you choose to call them that. There is no SIZE in the Formless. And when we let go of that OPINION and just enjoy the heck out of whatever shows up, MORE shows up to enjoy! Wink

I am Thom's son and I am excited that we will be doing our podcast episodes together. Both of us truly see the outcomes of these podcasts as inspirational, motivating, empowering and creative. Thanks to each of you for your words of encouragement and support. I am loving everyday learning to live in the certain way!

Rebecca,

One of the GREAT things about SOGR and the Practical Geniuses course is recognizing that the words we think and say out loud have an effect on the entire universe.

I had a reminder of this a few days ago when I was with my six year-old grandson and I commented that the thing that caught his interest was for the "stinkin' rich." Of course, it was no more out of my mouth than my Reticular Activating System kicked in. Eek

You are right, everything is something. You cause me to think of the incredible pyramids in Egypt (something I have been interested in since I was 12). One of the fascinations has always been how these gigantic structures were built one block upon another. Of course, it is ALL the blocks together that make the whole of the pyramid.

God Bless,

Thom

Sounds interesting to do a Podcast,

I have a White Paper about it, haven't read it all yet although I have seen that it's great for advertising since in the 'Advertising ROI Media Value Pyramid' it's at the top, since you can put your message out to a highly targeted audience.

Looks like it has similarities with a Radio Show, are you going to use Music during your Podcast? Smile

All the Best,
To your Happy Inspiration,

I know my smart friends may giggle but won't laugh when I ask, what is a podcast? I have an idea and of course you can't be on the internet without seeing them everywhere. But, I really don't know EXACTLY what it is.

Hi Dawn,
PODCAST:
A recording of an audio file (music, speech, etc) that can be downloaded to a portable audio player or computer. Wink
