Yes, i must say: i recognize the "having a kind of fear for being succesfull".
And for me goes too: I find it a little bit silly of myself (though i know i am courageous too....)
So, in a way, the 2 things don't fit well with each other.
I think the fear has to do with "not always taking yourself seriously", which is a point for me to learn anyway.
(the secure way)

I am reading the book for the 1st time now. It helps me through the changes of my life at this moment. (changes in relation to work)

Is that possible, you are not really afraid of "success", you are afraid of "CHANGE"? You are afraid of "Getting out of the comfort zone and getting into the unknown territory"?

-IMHO
