Does anyone know if Wallace was a Freemason?

I don't know for sure - but I would have thought that if he were, he would not have shared SOGR with everyone. The Freemason's have amazing buildings but I've never really figured out what they "do" - any description I've had seems too plain! Who knows, maybe there really are just an old-boy-network? Best Regards and remember - Today is the day! Casper |

Exact1 and Casper2 This is Casper OG and speaking of Freemasons trust me you are going to want to stay away from that topic or else your are going to go down the road of "hey I Didn't know That". Freemason and most of this worlds man made systems are designed to keep us in the dark and that what will happen if you start to dig.I did and boy oh boy what an eye opener it was I have since left that stuff alone because they where put here to help further the plan as I learned in reading SOGR so be careful not to slip into that trap stay focused and read, practice and employ the principles of SOGR.

It just occurred to me that he may have been a Freemason based on the era and the style of person he comes across as. Then again maybe it is that style of person (worldly, wealthy and learned) that denotes him as not being a Freemason. Their organisation certainly seems to have some mystery to it.

Exact1,
If you want to know about the Freemasons, contact me in a private forum. I don't see the relavence of your question to SOGR, but as a Mason, I'd be happy to answer your questions. I don't want Rebecca to chastise us for posting it here on the SOGR forums. God bless Bill of Conshohocken "Living Large and Loving Life!" |

The only forum where I ask people not to post topics that aren't DIRECTLY related to SOGR is in the COURSE forum and that's because everyone there has made a commitment up-front not to do that. (As for masons, freemasons, etc., I'd only point out that there have been, through history, MANY different groups using those names and they're not all the same so it would help to be extremely specific with questions and answers.) Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Possibly a better question -- Ought I to join the Freemasons?
Perhaps they are perceived as shadowy, secretive, underhanded, or something like that, while being power-seeking. So what? Mr. Wattles says not to rail against crooked politicians, because their organization of the world has created our opportunity. So we should take advantage of the opportunities provided by crooked politicians. Why wouldn't it be the same with the Freemasons? |

I agree with Casper,
The FreeMasons are an 'old school' network that attempt to keep trade secrets to garner wealth only for themselves (and certainly don't work with the SOGR priniciple of 'more life to all, less to none'). Best wishes for CREATING your wealth - not COMPETING or taking it from the direction of others. Faye |

I personally think the Freemasons are getting a tough rap here.
From what I can see they do a lot of charity work for starters and also finance community based programs in the form of scholarships and the like. My original consideration was based purely on the time at which Wallace was around and the type of business like person he seems to have been. No matter, I am more interested in who I am than Mr Wattle anyway (no offence Wallace). Cheers Sean |

Just a quick observation: Do y'all realize that holding, harboring and repeating ANY kind of negative thought and feeling about ANY group of people is competitive mind and is taking you AWAY from what you desire?
