Hi Kurt, WHen I think of successful leaders in history I think of people who want to help others but only can help thoughs who are willing to receive. If I know in my heart that what I'm doing is positive and beneficial then my faith will lead me to the right people. What happened was just I small piece of a bigger picture. When things don't work out for me the way I planned they more often come out even better a short time after. I hope that helps.

Best wishes,

Dwayne

Wishing you much success,

Hi Kurt,

There's one time when I come across this and would like to share with you.

Do not preach to others what you're doing. Instead show it to them. They'll understand and be willingly to learn from you eventually.

I am not saying that you're preaching or what. However just like what Dwayne says, you can only help those who are willingly to help themselves. Since they're unwillingly to recognise the value you have, leave them for a while. Time will prove your worthiness to them.

Do not try to go out and grab them as they won't know why you are here. Even if that means to to help them, they won't know and won't recognise that.

Instead, stands by the side and look out for people looking for help. Then give them a helping hand. In other words, always be willingly to them. In this way, they will recognise your purpose in their lives.

As to your last question "what should my perspective be?" That should be easy to answer. Choose the empowering and positive perspective you can think of!

Remember this. There is no concidence that you meet up with people. They have their purpose and value in your life. There is always a better or equal benefits inside all adversity. You just have to look for it.

Therefore always try to look for the seed of benefits inside all people. Recognise and thank others for constantly adding value to your life. In one simple sentenece.

Show gratitude!

Kurt,

We don't know what someone else's good is.

So don't beat yourself up or get upset if she turned away.

You don't know what her good is.

Don't concern yourself with what went wrong. Focus on the feeling and images of what you really want and work from there.

Continue to move forward and live in the creative mindset.

When we live in the creative mindset the right forces will be set in motion to attract the right people into our lives.

Appreciation from the Heart,

Richard De Haven

Zach and D Money,

I want to express my gratitude to both of you. Sometimes my passion can come out as preachy and I have made that adjustment, thanks to both of you. My sales calls tommorrow will be transformed. I want to find people that want to receive assistance on their business and catapult to amazing results. My product works but I am goign to find the people who are ready to receive it!

Thanks

This is my very first time on the forum, so please forgive me if I'm doing it wrong!

I, too, have a practical question - I find that I don't have enough work to do, other than doing something for the sake of it (things are due to change, when I get the go-ahead to start working with more clients, though). How does this fit in with W.D's advise to 'do all that can be done every day"? For instance, I am doing this while at work, having done everything I can think of, and it's not even lunch time yet!

Thanx, Kasey

Now I am a beginner at this and have read the book several times...but here goes (and you veterans of SOGR feel free to correct me)...IN HTE BOK Wally outlines that we must take efficient action and that prior to this our mind must be focused on our clear mental image (CMI).

Maybe at noon when you feel like you have done all that you can do, focus on your CMI again and hold that mental image in your mind and then another action may come to mind.

Any thoughts?

Kurt

Kasey,

Are there training manuels or other books pertaining to your job that you could be studying? How about other things you could do to prepair to do an excellent job when you get that go ahead?

Kurt,
Sounds like a good place from which to move forward. What does it look, feel, taste and sound like to attract only people who are ready to receive what you have to offer.

May I suggest that you change the 'but' to 'and' in your statement above?

Love and Light,
Charlotte

Hi, me again.

Just read a reply to my question (still not too au fait with this thing - some help on navigating the forum would be appreciated!)

What I meant about just doing stuff for the sake of is was just what she suggested I do - I find myself reading and re-reading manuals and policies and procedures, etc. just for the sake of it! Are you saying that that's good enough to constitute doing all I can do every day? I figured that getting more involved in SOGR would be an acceptable alternative!

Another thing - my job is working for a charity that helps adults with learning difficulties to find and maintain work (I'm waiting on the go-ahead to work with more people). CHARITY WORK! W. D. advises not to get involved in charity work but, until my (hopefully) new venture comes to fruition (I'm looking at buying into a franchise opportunity and running it part-time at first), that's my job and it is quite rewarding when you see the effect that working has on some of my clients.

It's been good to see some of the postings in the forum - cheers!

Kasey

HI Kasey,

I am new here but I will give it a shot. What you are doing for charity work is actually increasing the life of others. Rather than giving a hand out, you are showing them how to contribute to themselves and others. This would be in line with what Mr. Wattles proposes. You have a great day!

I was suggesting to study the material for the purpose of knowing your job better, not just for the sake of it. Your solution sounds good to me.

Hi Kurt,

Besides all the good advice you got from others, I think there's another GEM hidden in your story, which is:

"When we are HAPPILY RECEIVING, we are in fact GIVING HAPPINESS as well!"

Thanks! Big Grin
